“Chef Barbara obviously pours talent and love into what they are serving at Fresh Fish. I had the Rockfish Tacos, seafood chowder and Poke bowls. The Rockfish tacos were expertly seasoned and cooked, delicious. The seafood chowder was so good, my knees buckled. The Poke was good, fresh fish (both salmon and tuna) and was a good portion. Highly recommend this spot. Thank you, Barbara.”

I love fine dining, and now this will be the measuring stick Of all other fine dining experiences. I also love the laid back atmosphere. The service was excellent.”

“We came in looking for lunch. This place doesn't serve food, so they recommended a place down the alley. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, both staff and the patrons we talked with. Has a terrific local vibe, but everyone was welcoming. Thank you for the lunch suggestions - too bad we couldn't stay and enjoy your hospitality!”

“Great place to stay. The rooms are spacious and the staff is gracious. Clean and comfortable. Town of Sitka is in walking distance. Great views of fisherman, boats and kayaks on back deck. There is a bar and restaurant that serves dinner.”

“We have gone to a few places in town while we have been here. We keep coming back to the Nugget because it is consistently good. The service is very good also. The Coast Guard Wrap is my husband’s favorite. Prime Rib night was awesome. Just good food at a good price.”

“I tried a bowl of the Salmon Bisque and had to order a second one for my husband to keep him from eating all of mine it was so delicious. It was creamy and rich with lots of salmon chunks, mushroom and leeks. For dessert I had a chewy peanut butter cookie and my husband had the chocolate gelato. Best food ever you could tell they were made with quality ingredients. I highly recommend the Salmon Wagon.”
