Halibut Point Crab and Chowder

Stopped here after sight seeing from our cruise ship vacation. Service wasn't to bad, business was slow but due to the season ending but our waitress was sweet and helpful! Food wasn't half bad, halibut fish and chips was good, crispy and flakey but $33 for 4 halibut nuggets and 2 hand fulls of fries is a joke!! The prices are way to high for little food! The clam chowder had good flavor but was nuke warm at best after waiting 25 mins to be served when we were the only party there. Beers were beers, can't complain there but the prices are very high and that says alot for alaskas already high prices. If there going to charge that much for there food then make sure food is hot and portions are plentiful for the new season! I wouldn't highly recommend this place but if you were starving, it's something to eat. 7/10 over all

Stopped here to eat while in port. Ong, delicious, fresh seafood. Clam chowder was very good. Our waitress was attentive & prompt. Seafood sampler was great to share.

Despite still being a bit pricey, this is easily the best value you will get in Sitka. Do not even bother with any of the crab in the town; you’ll be paying an arm and a leg for that and only getting one leg out of it. The food here is quality, delicious, and literally half the price of anything you can get in town. Our server even told us what to order so that we would get the most food for the lowest price (crab boil; I highly recommend), which is exactly the opposite of what most places do, i.e. take as much money as possible and give you the bare minimum. If I ever go back to Sitka, this is the only food place that I will absolutely visit a second time.

Ah-maz-ing! Amazing. Definitely stop here. It's a little expensive but damn is it good. The Ling cod filets are delicious. And the chowder has a subtle kick to it.

The food was very disappointing for the price. The lingcod po boy consisted of two bite-sized pieces of fish. The quality was good but for 30 dollars for a sandwich, you expect a little bit more fish.

After waiting over 15 minutes to be greeted, my king crab legs showed up cold. No interested from staff to make anything right. I get they probably aren’t too worried about it since it’s a touristy place to eat…. But save you money and walkers right in by this place…. HORRID!!

This was our favorite place to eat while in Sitka, and we tried a lot of places. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was exceptional and the view was beautiful! We sat outside while it was sunny. Such a great place! And prices were great for how great the food and service was!

We had the mac and crab and the crab roll (very flavorful) Our server's name was Aiden, he provided excellent service and kept our glasses full, we also had the owner come over and ask how everything was, it is nice to see the appreciation towards the customers! I would highly recommend visiting this venue. Great job guys!!
