We had the most amazing food! We had the Salmon BLT, Fish and Chips and the most delicious broccoli and cheddar bisque. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. It was a fantastic experience! I highly suggest eating here!!!!!

Food was okay at best, the overprice halibut and chips came with two undersized pieces of fish. You’ll be better off going to any street vendor or other restaurant in town - much better food at reasonable prices found elsewhere.

Horrible service! DO NOT GO HERE! The food was average. The person, Ramon behind the bar was coughing everywhere, even inside my beer as it was being poured. Did not care to cover the mouth. The person was rude and unpleasant. We were just not going to say anything and not give a tip, but to our surprise tip was included. That explained why they didn’t care about hospitality. You are better off going to the street vendors

The waitress made two mistakes, and didn't want to do anything about it. She also charged the table of 5 an 18% service charge without telling anyone (the menu states that it will be included for parties 6 or more). So she got double tipped. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed here one night before going to the fishing lodge the last two years. Probably the best hotel in Sitka, and better than you might expect for a fishing town.Restaurant hours are variable, but there are other options and shops within easy walking distance.

If there was a way to leave 0 stars I would. I had a reservation at the hotel, but got stuck in the back country with no way to cancel. When I asked for a refund, the agent said it was policy to require 24 hrs notice. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and would caution anyone to look elsewhere. I also had airline flights get screwed up, and Alaska air was AWESOME to work with and rebooked me with no charges. Weather happens in AK, and this hotel should know that

We were medically evacuated from a cruise ship in Sitka. My husband was in the hospital for a week in Sitka. He is 83 years old and uses a walker on top of having pneumonia. After he was discharged from the hospital, we stayed 3 nights in the Westmark and needed to stay for 4. We were waiting to be medically escorted home. The Westmark kicked us out of the hotel on the last night because they told us they were fully booked for a convention. REALLY! An 83 year old in a walker who just got out of the hospital was kicked out of the Westmark for a convention. How chicken s--- is that. On top of that, the rooms were dirty and the furniture was stained and sagging. The room rate was exorbitant.

Brought my family to eat for a special family birthday dinner with reservations. Steaks were awful, no seasoning or taste and overdone, soggy Cesar salad, service slow and we had to go up and get our drinks from the bar, had a side salad without dressing and waitress didn’t come back in time to ask for it. They automatically add 20% tip for 6 people even though we didn’t benefit from timely and attentive service, bill was $460. I finally received a call from the manager, very nice and apologetic but without an offer for any sort of refund or gift card for future visit. We are locals and won’t go back anytime soon. So disappointed.

AWFUL PLACE. RUDE STAFF We arrived at the Hotel at noon after getting off a tour of the city. Our schedule was known by the hotel, there were 20 of us. We understood that check in was not until 3:00. We went to lunch and came back. The rooms were still not ready. We waited until 4:30 for a room. The person (total j**** at the front desk was rude and disrespectful. No apology for having wait 4 1/2 hours for a room or that we were not given a room until well after check in. Very disappointed in our stay.

They have a great wait staff and delicious food. The waitress (Brittnee) was very helpfull and the food was perfect.
