I was diverted unexpectedly from Ketchikan to Sitka, and had to scramble at 6:30 PM to find a hotel...in January. Enter Aaron, the Knight in Shining Armor! Kindly took my reservation via phone, expediently picked me up in the shuttle, offered to stop at a pizza joint since I didn't have dinner, and delivered me to the hotel. We had a really nice 1 night stay at the LongLiner. Staff were very very nice, with answers to our questions and flexibility when we had extra needs. Rooms were clean and comfy right on the water. We could walk into downtown and it was not a hard/long walk. Great place to stay in Sitka
