Dudes, the food was AMAZINGGG. The guy behind the counter taking my order was SO nice. I downed the whole thing in five minutes. I got the beef dumplings with everything on it.10/10 will be back. The rye was a little odd but im just not a rye person ?♀️

Fantastic!! A flavorful, warm, and wonderful meal delivered swiftly in a lovely space. And all for less than $10! What more can you ask for? I highly recommend. Take your pick of potato or beef, and get it with everything on it!

I had one simple question "how much is an order?" and some prick with long sandy brown hair about shoulder length tells me we're already done for the night..... Cool still didn't answer my question. I obviously wasn't going to order since I only poked my head in. Wanted to know for the next day, but he just couldn't answer a simple question and told me they where closing. Poor customer service on his part. Haven't been there in over a year and just remembered why... people are always rude except for one girl nikia.

Delicious shop to stop in and get a quick super hot meal! It was so nice to go in, in between my scheduled meetings! I had the pelmeni with beef and would 100% recommend, my friend go the potato also DELISH!

A must place to go when visiting Sitka if you want Russian experience without going to Russia. Dumplings are fabulous with Sour Cream and Butter. We came here 3 times in 2 days in August 2022 because I loved them so much. That says a lot because am a picky eater.
The food was really yummy! All the toppings made it amazing too. There's a potato or beef option. I got the potato. It comes with 15 but they're small so easily shareable if you want to try both fillings. The inside is a littler on the smaller side but the guy working was really nice and easy to talk to. The service took about 10 minutes to cook so it was nice and fresh. I was able to walk around and come back to them being ready.
Don’t let the size of the menu fool you — the food is fantastic! Would definitely eat again!

Stop by this little place that packs an amazing flavor punch. Order potato or beef. You can’t go wrong. I personally like the beef. There are more oils and that meat flavor with the vinegar and rye bread is a must try. Be sure to get everything in them. I started adding sour cream to it and it adds even more flavor goodness. The price is right and the service is usually great. There are sometimes where I had to wait 10 or so minutes for them to refresh the pots, but it turns out that fresh Pel is the best Pel. Enjoy it with a beverage from the fridge and sit in or take them to go. If you haven’t been in yet; go. Enjoy!

As a foodie, I wanted to experience these Russian/Alaskan dumplings. We bought an order of beef and one of potato (Alaskan style) and shared. Wow-- a bit too much heat for me but otherwise wonderful! The slice of marbled rye/pumpernickel (with caraway) bread was delicious.To me, this is great for a snack/light meal (not a full, main meal).

A "hidden" gem in downtown Sitka right behind St. Michaels. So many people walk by and don't realize what they are missing out on!! The dumplings are amazing and they have seats inside to sit and enjoy the food. Highly recommend!!!
