Some friends and I stopped here for lunch last week when we were in Skagway for the day. It was super busy when we walked in and we anticipated that there would be a long wait, but we were actually seated almost immediately. Even though it was busy we still received prompt service and our food came out decently fast all things considered. I had the Queso Carnitas Fries and a side of the Bacon Bleu Cheese Potato Salad for my meal, while my friends had a Halibut Sandwich and a Burger. My meal was scrumptious! From the fries, to the pulled pork, it was all good. I even liked the BBQ sauce, which I am normally not a big fan of. The potato salad was also good, it lacked in bleu cheese flavor to me, but it had plenty of bacon in it and was still a solid potato salad. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. One thing to note if you are with a group, they are only able to split a check two ways, so be prepared for that if you're not planning to pay together. The atmosphere is your typical bar restaurant vibe, but the women's bathroom is a little more special. Take a peak inside for an elegant change of scenery. If you're in Skagway on a cruise, or for any other reason, you should definitely pop into Bonanza for a meal or something cold to drink,
Parking: There are parking lots around town and parking spaces here and there, but I'm not sure how much they cost. I was on a cruise ship so my parking space was a huge berth out on the water. LOL

This place is a joke!!! Go to "the station" better service better food. I was asked not return last night by Mgr. The food is sad. What burger doesn't come with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. I paid $1 for pickles and I got 2. The customer service is always a disappointment except for 1 server. I usually just sit in his section and all goes well. The bartender Jeremy cried to his Mgr when I express my disappointment to him. Man up dude. last night was ridiculous. No beverages brought before food was served. The HAP employees r afraid to say something because they r very quick to revoke the discount. Bad enough they have trouble applying it and splitting checks. If anyone knows a POS system u just push a button. I can see how hard that is with the level of incompetence this place is ran.

The bonanza burger was good but it was a 1/3 # and I usually have trouble choking it down but this might have been short. Tasted good but I asked for medium and it was more towards well. The fries were first class, crispy. Music was a little loud for a lunch crowd fresh of the ? boat.

The buffalo wings were delicious, the wing was a very good size, juicy, well cooked, not greasy at all, the burgers were very good for the price, Adriane, a super friendly girl, made an effort all the time to give us a taste of those places where the attention makes up for the lack of service. This is so modern, a pub that needs a remodel but I would go again without a problem.

Me and my friend ordered a burger and a salmon sandwich. The food was amazing and yummy very good beef and fresh salmon. Also, draft Alaskan beers perfectly match! And the staff was kind and very helpful. I recommend this restaurant to you guys!
