I had lunch at the Bistro and it was quite good! The Elk meatballs were quite good and the salmon pastry is a must have while in Alaska.

This little bistro was the perfect place to stop and eat! The food was absolutely amazing. The salmon chowder, the seafood pasta, even the fish and chips were the best I’ve eaten anywhere. Cannot recommend this place enough to put on your list of places to stop on your visit to Skagway. The staff was so friendly and even the atmosphere was great. Loved it!!

Stopped here after our excursion in skagway. Its located a bit further from the port but well worth the walk. The first lady was rude whrn were trying to get seated but our waiter and food was fantastic. We had the fish and chips and king crab legs. They halibut was a bit pricey but was really good. The crab legs were cooked well and had 2 for half a lb. Go check them out

After returning from a bus from the Yukon suspension bridge the bus driver suggested Olivia's. It was not crowded, food was wonderful, service was excellent and seats were comfortable. We appreciated this recommendation! Great gift shop right across the street!

I didnt stay in the hotel, I just stopped in to the bistro for lunch. Very friendly staff and quick service. The salmon chowder was perfect for a rainy day and the blackberry mojito that was reccomend to me by the server was delicious.

I didint stay at the hotel but ate lunch here, the halibut and chips was extremely over cooked and extremely small portion for 34 dollars, couldn’t even recognize what fish I was eating due to how tough it was.

We ate lunch here and it was fantastic. Highly recommend the halibut fish and chips. Probably the best I've ever had. Alaskan King Crab is also a must! Make sure you get there early to get a table (before the cruise ships bombard the place). It's at the end of the main drag so I recommend you start at the end (and get here first) before you work your way back through the town.

Go early, the day we went they were out of alit however, the salad and salmon I had was good. As you can see from the photo my husband demolished the crab legs and the smoked salmon chowder. All excellent.

Very disappointed. According to their website and Google they are open every night until 8:00 p.m. in the summer. I called the number on the website to make a dinner reservation for June at the end of April. Karl took my information and my credit card number and told me there was a $100 deposit for reservations just to make sure that people kept them. He also indicated he would send me an email confirmation which I did not receive. I emailed and never heard back. I called again at the end of May to confirm my reservation, he sounded a little confused but indicated he would put that together and send me an email confirmation. I never received that one either. So I was unsure whether we actually had a reservation for dinner at 6:00 p.m. on the night and I wanted in June. We had a limited time in port and I arrived earlier from my activities than my friends. I walked to the restaurant to confirm everything only to find out that they were closed at 3:00 p.m.i went into the hotel and asked and he sounded confused again like he didn't know what he did with the information. No apology no nothing just we're not open you don't have a reservation. It was just very disappointing because obviously two weeks ago when I called to confirm again he had to know that they weren't going to be open that night so why would you even imply that you could get a table for dinner that night? Unfortunately it cost me a lot of time and we had a very limited amount of time in port so I didn't get a chance to do a lot more because I wasted so much time tracking down a non existent reservation and then looking for another place to eat. We very much wanted to eat local and thought this was our chance. But alas due to poor communication we missed out.

Loved the elk meatballs. It was a perfect size and super tasty. The sauce was perfect. Wish I had the recipe.

Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. The salmon spread was very good, no fishy taste at all. Smokey & creamy, paired nicely with the toasted bread.

We had a port stop in Skagway and stopped here for lunch. This was the best meal of our trip so far! The best seafood pasta I’ve ever had and the salad was picked fresh from their garden 5min before serving. Incredible, would highly recommend!
