We had the best king crab ever. The shell was very easy to open and the meat would fall out of the shell. We also had crab cakes and poutine fries. The crab cakes were better than the fries.

My wife and I visited while on shore from the NCL Encore.
We sat at the bar with the Bartender Molly, ordered a local stout, fish and chips and the admirals combo plate ( salmon, fish n chips and fried shrimp).
First the service. Molly was delightful, she had a good sense of humor and took great care of us, even explaining the history of the stout and how they came to serve it. As we were sitting the head chef came out to talk to a local, he was also very personable ( I think his name was Peter ).
The food, just wow. We've eaten fish and chips all over, from London to Boston to well you name it. These were the BEST fish and chips I've ever had anywhere. Light fluffy breading, deliciously cooked fish. I really cannot rave enough about them.
The salmon was blackened, also phenomenal. The fried shrimp shared the same batter as the fish, so obviously was great.
Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. If you're in Skagway, this is a must try.

We had the BEST visit at Skagway Fish Co on our Alaskan cruise! This was our primary food stop after several recommendations for it, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The place was packed, but my husband and I were sat at the bar within 5 minutes of putting our name in, and it was best case scenario in our minds. Our bartender, Kelvin, was a superhero and had no business running that bar so smoothly on his own. His service was above and beyond and the food came out fast and hot. Hopefully he’s back for the next season in Alaska because he is a joy of a person everyone should get a chance to meet!
