Meet historic building that used to be a brothel. They still give tours of the upstairs, and the downstairs is a bar and restaurant. I know it seems very cliche, but we ordered the pizza and the nachos and it was fantastic. Especially after being on cruise food for several days. They offer a tour for $10. In the middle of Skagway is a truly historic site. Although crowded with tourists when the cruise ships are in town (just a short walk from the docks), the saloon has been kept true to its origins and the employees make visitors feel as though they were in the days of the gold rush. Due to a scheduling conflict, I was unable to take the "Ghosts and Good Time Girls" tour that I had reserved for, but if I ever return, that is on my list because of the tremendous reviews I've read.

Fun, historic, restaurant serving food and alcohol in a 1800's-style brothel atmosphere. The "Ladies" (including the waitresses) wear period-style costumes and play-up the characters of the time, along with the double-innuendo and word-play you'd expect in such a location.This is a popular site to visit when the cruise ships come in, so there may be a wait for seating - especially during meal-hours.
