Acapulco Mexican Restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for families with kids who can enjoy crayons and activity sheets. The restaurant serves consistently good food with excellent service, prioritizing cleanliness. Guests can enjoy dishes like tamales with rice and beans, chili relleno, and queso, though some recommend skipping the jalapeno add-on since fresh ones are available at the salsa bar. The restaurant features a self-serve salsa bar with fresh-made chips and salsa, which are kept refilled at no extra charge, ensuring a tasty start to the meal. The staff is friendly and personable, making every visit enjoyable. Despite sometimes being busy, many visitors praise the fast service, especially during Sunday lunch. The owner and chef work hard to provide a great experience, making it one of the best options for Mexican food in the area, especially after other local spots have closed. Located just outside of the main city past Fred Meyers, it’s easy to find with GPS or careful looking for the entrance.
