Wasn't expecting good Mexican in Alaska. But everything was excellent.

I normally love this place but last visit was just hectic and unpleasant. Tried to order drinks and the waiter told us she is sending someone else because she is not allowed to talk beer orders. Never sent anyone.
15 min later the next waiter showed up that took our order. Food arrived in to-go containers and I needed to ask for a plate and transfer the food myself. Odd…

Service was bad. Came in with a group of 4. We didn’t get seated until about 45 minutes of waiting even when they had open tables. When they sat us down, we didn’t get any waters or service. We had to ask for waters and for someone to take our order after being seated for 30 minutes.

Service was absolutely horrendous. We came in as a party of two just looking to get a quick bite. The server at the front initially told us we were next in line for a table but then proceeded to seat 3 parties that came after us. In addition to that, we asked if we could sit at the bar but they also told us that was not an option. After 25 minutes of being brushed off we were finally given a table. At least the food was good.

Typical Mexican atmosphere. Horrible service, very inattentive with a service staff more interested in socializing behind the hostess desk than serving customers. No hard liquor, thus no margaritas. The food was decent though. Unfortunately, I would not recommend.

My wife and I ate there and found out that Raphael the man that works there he is from the same area that we are in elk Grove California it was very nice to talk to a local California he's been living up in Alaska for the last 10 years and anyway we bought tamales with rice and beans and chili relleno with rice and beans and a queso with jalapeno. You don't need to get the jalapeno with the queso all you have to do is go to the salsa bar and get your own jalapenos and save yourself $4, anyway it was very good and it was as good as any Mexican food you can get in California

Wife and I ate lunch here on a Sunday. We got in about 10 minutes before noon which I think was the rush. The food was great and came out fast. The service was top notch, friendly and attentive.

Consistent disappointment.
Sadly, it may be the best Mexican food in town.

From arizona, and this was pretty good mexican food. Great service and quality food. Carne asada was great and salsa was fresh. I would go back when traveling again

Kat was such an amazing server! And the food was fantastic. We initially had a different server that we never ended up even seeing. The hostess and Kat took us under their wing and made it worth the wait.
