I was in the mood for a croissant breakfast sandwich and directed to Mel's, as one of the few places in the Kenai and Soldotna area to serve that. They had a drive thru as well so I could get my sandwich to go and enjoy it with my latte. Friendly service from the staff at the window.
Mel's did not disappoint! I love trying new places and this one is a standout on the Kenai Peninsula. The inside is decorated beautifully with plenty of seating and light. The food came fast despite ordering several different things per person. However, my only recommendation is for them to ask for a name when they are giving out orders since some of our things were the exact same as other people so when they called the food out more than one customer went to collect it.
