Great Value Service and Products. I bring all my meat and fish trimmed because I want my hound to have the trim and the smokehouse gets best quality ingredients. We very much enjoy all smoked fish and game options. The other day I made a tasty Thai curry with Tustumena’s old fashioned smoke salmon and fresh vegetables. Once curry sauce has simmered a bit, vegetables (lots of them) get cooked to al dente’, Then 1 inch fish chunks go in last bc fish only needs to be brought...
Ordered in early October, arrived today to play a large part of my charcuterie thing for Christmas, worth every, and the wait, for which I think they may have added a few things as recompense that I greatly appreciate. My only complaint is their lack of communication, as I kept forgetting about it LOL. I had called and email and received no response.
Fred and staff are awesome. I take in both fish and game meat for processing and am always satisfied. Their cold smoke lox is by far the best I have ever tasted anywhere. Tried AK Sausage and Seafood last year with a portion of my red catch.... not even close to as good as Tustumena. Oh.. and Cajun smoked reds or pinks......better than anywhere else as well.
