For a place that only serves coffee and waffles, you’d be better off making it at home. The atmosphere is nice, but that’s about all it has going for it. The waffles were lackluster, and the coffee was nothing special. With all the hype, I expected something that stood out, but it was just average at best. Definitely not worth a return visit.

Fun idea for an espresso bar/waffle place, but not executed well. It was pretty cool to eat inside of a train car but other than that, wouldn’t come here again. The coffee itself was watery and all four of our waffles were dry and didn’t taste great. So basically you are paying for the experience and not the food. It also took 40 minutes to get a drip coffee and a waffle, but that didn’t bother us too much since it was busy. Waiting a long time for something that tastes along the lines of a worse version of an eggo frozen waffle was the issue.

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was so unique with the train car and train theme throughout. Best coffee I’ve had on the trip, and the best waffles I’ve ever had in my life. The chicken waffles have chicken baked inside of them. Loved it! And don’t miss the gift shop next door- really cool t shirts there!

57 min wait for coffee. Loads of people coming in after us, getting their coffee and leaving. Baristas have little explanation. Said it’d be 10-15min for coffee, ended up waiting 57min for coffee and food. If you have an hour to wait for coffee, go for it. Cool train car.
And yes, it was 57min.

Cute place , terrible service and customer service. Ordered 2 mochas and it took 25 minutes to get our coffee. 5 young ones working behind the counter , 2 of them actually doing anything while the other 3 played with their hair and stood around while 1 girl ran all the food and drinks to customers... disappointed after looking up a coffee spot and this place somehow had 5 stars.

What a fun business in Sodoltna! Leveraging old Alaska Rail trains this business seems to try to provide an experience while being sustainable. It's an up and coming little business park that includes a brew pub, coffee shop, and art store. New solar panels seem to be installed so will leverage renewable power especially with the northern sun. If you have a chance to stop recommend grabbing a coffee and snack and then sitting up in the train car!

Great place, friendly staff, cute. Horrid speed of service. This is my 5th time here. Be prepared to wait 10-20 min for a coffee. Also, expect 1-5 employees too busy chatting to actually do anything.

Unique place and fantastic coffee. Hot chocolate for the kids was very tasty as well. Will definitely be back again when in town. Had to edit my review after second visit... took more then 50 minutes to get an order of coffee and waffles. And waffles were mediocre warm. Sadly.
