Cute spot to grab a coffee or simple breakfast and walk to waterfront. Coffee tasted better when the mountain was out! Lol.

It’s a hippy dippy liberal coffee and light breakfast shack right off “Main Street” in downtown Talkeetna. Staff is nice in a liberal anti establishment sort of way. The bathroom is a port-a-potty, so a bit wonky. Prices are reasonable!

The crapes were 5 out of 10. They were very moist and flavorful but were more plain than expected. The coffee was a little bitter. The white mocha was the favorite in our group.
Definitely not a must go.

Good coffee, but disappointing service experience
I enjoyed the coffee here, but I feel compelled to share an unpleasant interaction I witnessed on 7/15/2025. A staff member was unnecessarily rude to a customer who didn’t deserve it.
The customer had ordered food to go but, while waiting, decided to dine in. A female staff member, likely in her late 30s or early 40s, noticed this while serving another order and launched into a two-minute lecture about how the customer should have informed them, so they wouldn’t have wasted aluminum foil. While it’s understandable to care about minimizing waste, the staff member’s reaction felt excessive and inappropriate.
The customer didn’t argue or push back, yet the staff member continued scolding them in front of others. It was uncomfortable to witness, and I couldn’t help but wonder: can’t customers change their minds? In this case, it felt like environmental concern was used to justify unkindness—something that should never happen in a service setting.

Fantastic coffee, friendly staff, welcoming vibe! They have a stocked “library” of books to check out- a great way to spend some time on their patio. Oh and they’re dog friendly! What more could you ask for?! 10/10!!
Great bagel and egg.
