This is a great spot for lunch or dinner. The food was excellent—I especially enjoyed the seafood gumbo, packed with salmon, halibut, scallops, reindeer sausage, and rice, all topped with a puff pastry square. It had a wonderful New Orleans–style flavor. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was delicious as well. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

A great restaurant in Talkeetna. We went for breakfast and we're not disappointed!! Great views, friendly, fast service, and delicious food. Our waitress was very familiar with celiac disease and made good suggestions.

Food was mid. Apparently hush puppies are supposed to be burned to a crisp according to our server. At least he removed them from the bill but I don't particularly want to eat somewhere that purposely serves burned food.
