We were visiting Talkeetna in August and had lunch. It was very busy. The hostess was very nice and let us sit at the bar while we wait. Our server was very friendly. We enjoyed our food, drinks, and the restaurant’s ambiance.
This is just a real nice casual restaurant in town here.
I think our server was Helen. She’s the one that makes the homemade sangria. She was really friendly and just nice as could be. The other server was really interesting, kind of loud but in an entertaining way.
The food was well prepared and very fresh. Just a solid meal out in the middle of nowhere. If the prices seem a little high, remember, they are literally hours from civilization....

A favorite! Great food and service. Can get busy due to bus tours depending on your timing, but staff does their very best! We went here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and made yummy noises each time! Lol!
