10 out of 10 for me! Went there with my Wife on our Honeymoon last night and enjoyed the service and food. Big fan of the baked salmon & anchovies pizza! Also enjoyed seeing the memory of USMC Medal of Honor recipient John Basilone being kept alive by his family who runs the place!

A surprisingly decent little eatery for a remote little town. They have a decent selection of pizzas and calzones. A little pricey, but that should be expected since again, small town. May be a little busy during peak tourist seasons.

Great that they are open in the winter. Great pizza.Last time I was in they are trying to do table service, they didn't have the staff or the time for it wish they would go back to the old way.

Awesome place, great service and good pizza. Summers are the best because they have live music 7 days a week. Really cool atmosphere to kick back, eat pizza and drink beer!

While in Anchorage my wife and I took a ride to Talkeetna to visit the most northern Steeler Bar for lunch. The indoor seating area is small but cozy. The food and service were good and reasonably priced for Alaska. We talked to the owner for a short period of time and he showed us around the place. He was preparing the outdoor seating for the upcoming tourist season and this was where some of his Steeler items were, at least the one's his wife had not hidden (lol). The owner did say that his place was no longer the most northern Steeler bar, but that a place in Fairbanks now claims that title.

Cold rainy October day. HOT ITALIAN BEAN & SAUSAGE SOUP AND WHITE GREEK PIZZA. Now I'm ready to head back out and enjoy the rest of this little historic town. (Great crust!)

Not like it used to be. Not sure if Mountain High Pizza Pie sold, or they just don't care anymore?Ordered a Gyro pizza, and it came out looking like a salad (tons of lettuce and tomatoes), not much cheese, and the Gyro meat was microscopic and not much of it. We showed it to the very nice woman at the front counter, and she remade it herself. The second one was better than the first, but still such a small amount of meat. It would be like ordering a pepperoni pizza and getting one pepperoni on each slice.... the meat should be the star, not lettuce. The other thing I ordered (because I used to order one Every time I came to Talkeetna) was a Chuli Cheese bread. The loaf is smaller now, not much marbling of the Chuli stout beer , not much cheese inside. All in all, I am probably broken of my habit of stopping in Mountain High Pizza pie for awhile.

Loved this place, however since it was the off season, it was almost the only game in town. We had pizza "Duh...and subs, salads and beer/wine, all were good. the place is so popular that it was crowded every day (3 Days for us) we went there. It's loud with kids running all over the place because it was too cold to go outside. Long lines and lots of people, that should tell you that it is good food. As a side note, all other place turn us away, even with their "open" sign still on and still within their hours of operation.
