Needed to get a quick bite to eat and this place was convenient and priced reasonable for the area. Food came out hot and fresh and was tasty. Service was fast and friendly.

Had a Shirley burger and fries here last year and it was amazing, large, juicy and delicious. I was excited to return and order again! Ordered the Shirley burger again this time and was left disappointed. The burger was half the size but more expensive, it was under seasoned, was thicker on one side than the other, the vegetables were all unevenly cut (huge slice of tomato) as well which made for a messy, falling apart bite. The fires were extremely underwhelming, out of a frozen bag, and were also flavorless/non seasoned. Won’t be returning! Spend your money elsewhere!

This is the first review I’ve written in my life. It was that bad. I lived in talkeetna for 10 years and this place always had the best/most affordable food in town. I’ve been gone 2 years and that’s when the new owner bought it. They don’t answer the phone and you have to order online. So that’s what I did. In the notes I asked for the veggies on the side. I get there and he tells me they didnt put it on the side because I didn’t specify. I absolutely did. He looked at the ticket and said “I see where you wrote it but we don’t read that part of the ticket”. Well ok. Things happen. But he genuinely didnt give a damn. The burger looked worse than Burger King. and when I asked him if he could correct it he said it would be extra 50 cent for a side box to put the veggies in. This is the owner acting like this. I gave it back to him and told him I didn’t want it and he could keep it. What a shame. It’s hard to get good food for a decent price in talkeetna. The price is still good but the food and customer service are atrocious. There are many other options in town. Pay a few dollars more for better food and customer service.
