We did not stay here, but enjoyed an amazing breakfast. We loaded up on almost every pastry that they offered. Everything was delicious. The guys loved the reindeer sausage pigs in a blanket. We couldn't decide if the brownie, blueberry fried pie or raspberry danish was the best. Would definitely come again!

We stayed one night in the bunk room and one night in the cabin in the back. The owners were very flexible in letting us stay one night in each, and letting us move in early to the cabin. Our experience was that the WiFi did not seem to reach the cabin, but in fairness, we did not ask/try to navigate that since it was only one night and we had access to WiFi in the main building. The common areas were very cozy. Many of the guests (including us) seemed to enjoy spending time in there. Breakfast was great! The brewed coffee, reindeer sausage, and sourdough pancakes, in particular, were fantastic! (Other baked goodies from the bakery were also awesome!) We enjoyed our stay!

I debated whether or not to leave a review here. I hate to leave a bad review because on the one hand, it’s a very cute spot with every possible amenity thoughtfully provided, and it’s clear the owners work very hard to make it great. Michelle the chef was very nice and offered me coffee and tea every morning.

However, my room (1) had a very strong unpleasant smell that I had to endure for 4 days. I messaged Trisha about it, but her response felt dismissive. I had to keep the window open and the fan on the whole time to manage the odor. While I could tolerate that, what was worse was getting locked out of my room. I messaged Trisha, saying I wasn’t in a rush, but after 40 minutes with no response, I had to crawl in through the window. My text was never answered. If my window hadn’t been open due to the odor, I might have had to sleep on the couch. Not responding at all, at any point is indefensible.

This place is a must. Clean and peaceful. And add the breakfast it was best in the area. The sourdough pancakes are great here. Of course the bakery one of everything to go. I got the bunk room only thing left last minute but still worth the price.

Bakery stop is a must; don’t walk by this place. Bakery opens at 7am
Rudy in a parka; reindeer sauces cheese in potato flour bun. Peach pasty coffee and more.
