A beautiful day to stop and browse Talkeetna shops. We visited the trailer and tried the famous spinach bread - now we understand the hype! Warm and gooey and so flavorful. The limeade was delicious and be sure to get the rhubarb blueberry crumble with whipped cream.
Menu included in photos. I absolutely love this place. There is usually a long line but that’s just because it’s so delicious! I don’t mind waiting but expect ~10 mins on a busy day. If you go on a clear day, you can walk 2 mins to the Denali look out and it’s stunning. The spinach bread is garlicky and soft. The iced mint tea has no sweetener, it was very refreshing and paired well with the spinach bread.
The food truck was busy, and it was a cash only place, or at least was the day we went. We ordered spinach bread. It was like a deep dish pizza or pie. If you don't like garlic or deep dish pizza, then it's not for you.
