My family was visiting Talkeenta and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here on our last day. Spinach bread, Blueberry Rhubarb Crisp, Breakfast burritos, Brazilian Limeade, and coffee. The food was amazing and my husband said it was the best cup of coffee he had had in forever. I wish we would have gotten some of the spinach bread take and bake for the road! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!!
A beautiful day to stop and browse Talkeetna shops. We visited the trailer and tried the famous spinach bread - now we understand the hype! Warm and gooey and so flavorful. The limeade was delicious and be sure to get the rhubarb blueberry crumble with whipped cream.
Menu included in photos. I absolutely love this place. There is usually a long line but that’s just because it’s so delicious! I don’t mind waiting but expect ~10 mins on a busy day. If you go on a clear day, you can walk 2 mins to the Denali look out and it’s stunning. The spinach bread is garlicky and soft. The iced mint tea has no sweetener, it was very refreshing and paired well with the spinach bread.
