I ate at Amelia’s on my birthday in 2005. I told the server it was my birthday and she was nice enough to gift me this coffee cup. I don’t remember what I ate, but I do remember that I was with my friends in the coldest part of winter on the Bering Sea. I’ve carried this cup with me all over the United States. Every time I enjoy a cup of coffee from it, I remember that awesome experience. I really want to go back here just because they gave me a coffee cup on my birthday...
BLUF this is a overdue review from 2008 when I was in the USCG stationed in Kodiak. Thanksgiving is approaching now which is what jogged my memory of Amelia's. I'd eaten there many times from 2007to2009. But in 2008 I was there over Thanksgiving. Amelia's fed anyone who came in for free, it's been one of the best Thanksgiving meals I've had in my 54 years. I read some of the reviews, but I wanted to see for myself If it was good enough to eat. I'm from texas.So i'm familiar with authentic mexican food, i would say that it's very american/ mexican style food. The salsa is not up to my standards at least but again, i'm a hard critic.
