Very good food and service but for me sometimes a couple patrons are a little to loud for the time of the day that I am there but then again I am new to the island I'm used to a more of a southern grill and bar until it gets late then it gets loud but overall it's a very good place.
The Norwegian Rat what a good time. Out of the few places in town to hang out this is one of the best. The pizza is great and they have a great selection of drinks and beer. They are always playing sports on the TV and the pool tables are great ?

The Rat has become an integral part of our community. We know the weekends can be busy as its a great place to hang out, but it's the lunch hour that we usually go. Whenever we have an out of town guest we bring them to the Rat- good food, good service and the ambiance is casual and real.
