We are from New Orleans and walked past this place on our way to get food elsewhere and honestly immediately turned our noses up at the concept of a po boy in Alaska. But when we couldn't stop wondering about it, even though we had already eaten dinner, one in our group went back right before they closed to get a halibut po boy for us to split so we could sample it, and boy was it worth it!!! It's real French bread!!! I truly expected something else because we can't...
Best halibut Fish and chips EVER!!! Some locals suggested this is the place to go. The breading/seasoning is perfect with any of the brews from Valdez.
Other fish and chips in town, but Poor Betty's takes the crown hands down ?
