I ordered the New York steak and it was excellent. It was recommended to me by someone else, but also warned that it was expensive. Well, if you pay 50 bucks, you better get a good steak. And they did not disappoint. There really isn't any atmosphere, but the food is good and the servers are friendly.
This is a good dependable place to eat in Valdez, Alaska. The food each time has great presentation and that extra of a 5 star restaurant. Service was fast and had a personal touch.

The chef was gone this weekend so it was a bar menu only. Halibut fish and chips were great, although I got a piece of cod thrown in there and for the price you pay of halibut that was not cool. Side options were only a variety of potato’s. First night, I had Alfredo which was great but then that menu option didn’t return as the chef was gone. Please expand the menu, it used to be amazing back in the day!
