We had lunch today at River Cafe. I had the cheeseburger and Sandra had the ribeye steak sandwich. Both were very good. The liquor selection was impressive for a small place. Had pool tables and dart games.
Nice little place that is as much restaurant as it is bar. Don’t skip the food. No need for the double patty burger because the single patty is huge and delicious. Great onion rings. Biker friendly.
Absolutely the best burger around! Hand cut fries are delicious as well. Try the catfish special on Fridays. Drinks are good but can be inconsistent depending on who is bartending but it's a dive bar so these are not highly trained bartenders and they are always friendly so they get a pass. We have been regulars for a while now and have not found anything on the menu that wasn't good. It's a bar but kids are welcome and it's family friendly during the day....
