Shocked today, one of my favorite places till I went to for my food, one person almost $18. Then I find out tips don't go to the employees. Just my personal opinion but I won't be coming back due to high price and the fact that they don't split the tips between the employees.

My Mom loves their food...all of it but their lima beans, fried okra and macaroni and cheese is her all time favorites with their special rolls of course. So on my way home from a Dr. Appt Mom asked me to run through Jack's and get her some fried Okra. So I immediately checked out Bevelle's daily menu to see if they had the okra and they did. So I picked her up her all time fav's and roll to bring home to her. You should have seen her face when I gave her the plate. She was over the moon. Plus those sweet people fixing the plates are always so sweet and wonderful. As long as Bevelle's is open we will continue to come by. Merry Christmas Bevelle Family.

We didn't actually eat in the restaurant we had them cater an event at work. They were very easy to work with throughout the entire process. We had to go back and forth to get it exactly right but he was very patient and helpful in every step of the way.The day of the event came and they had the food ready as promised it was absolutely delicious. They even did this little extra things that people forget these days.This is a true Southern restaurant with Southern manners in good ole southern cooking.
