Big Whiskey's - Alabaster

They did not have the bourbon I requested and choose a substitute that was $20 per ounce, far more expensive then what I asked for - they up sold me and made it seem like a substitution. When I ordered food I ordered a pork chop that was $17.49 yet they brought me Salmon and they again upsold me to $22 by making me think they would cover their mistake. All in all they were able to significantly increase my bill with these tactics. I will never go back to any of the Big Whiskey Restaurants!

Only complaint about whole experience is that they ran out of silverware so we got our food and had to wait till they cleaned some silverware, other than that food was exceptionally good and service was good only had to wait 30min which was understandable on a Saturday night, was very impressed for first time going to this restaurant. Will definitely be returning.

My husband and I visited one afternoon before dinner. The restaurant had several tables with customers but it was not very busy. Our server was really nice, friendly and attentive. I ordered the appetizer nachos as my meal and it was delicious. Our server made sure to bring it with my husbands meal instead of an appetizer. If you go during Happy Hour, they have $6 appetizers and they are every bit as big as any other time, not a smaller version. I did order an All American Margarita and it was NOT good. At all. I didn’t drink it and the server did remove it from our bill. All in all, it was a good visit.

The New York strip was undercooked, and everything was salty. Our waitress was nice, but there was nothing great about the place.
