Full Moon Bar-B-Que is a popular restaurant known for its delicious food and generous portions. The chopped pork sandwich is a must-try, piled high with flavorful meat. The traditional Southern sides are served hot and quickly. The BBQ sauce has a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. The menu offers a variety of options, including smoked chicken and pit-produced meats. The desserts, like the carrot cake and key lime pie, are rich and satisfying. The restaurant has a family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of parking and a convenient drive-through. The interior is comfortable, decorated with memorabilia. TVs show sports events without being too loud, allowing for a pleasant dining experience. The service can be a bit slow at times, but the overall quality of the food makes Full Moon Bar-B-Que a go-to spot for BBQ lovers.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of BBQ options, from Chili Dogs to Brisket. The cashiers handle orders quickly, and the kitchen executes them without error. Customers can enjoy dishes like the beef angus beef brisket salad, fried green tomatoes, and the smoked turkey covered in sauce and chow chow. The baked beans are bold, and the fried green tomatoes are perfectly done. The restaurant also scores bonus points for its order-at-the-counter system, sports on TV, and self-serve fountain Coke with chewable ice. The atmosphere is comfortable and private, even with many tables around, and the restaurant sometimes hosts high school teams who provide table service as a fundraiser.
