We had a private event booked months ago and the staff kept in touch with our contact person constantly. Our party was very recent and the staff was the most fun! We had a blast! Ivy League Brew let us decorate so early in advance and set up the way we wanted to. And Momo’s Cajun Eatz- the food was incredible!! If you need a place for a private event or just go hang out- this. Is. It!!! Thank you to everyone! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to hang out, enjoy a delicious mead. Kid and pet friendly.Bartenders and Owners are great. Our family had an event over the weekend and we received top notch service as always!

MoMo’s Cajun Eatz catered our food. If you haven’t ate off the food truck you don’t know what your missing everything on the menu is GREAT!

Last night we had my daughter’s wedding reception at Ivy League Brew. I was a beautiful and magical night filled with great food, great drinks and fun. Our favorite drinks are immortal, morning dew and freedom If you are having an event or just wanting to unwind from a day of work this is the place to do it. Everyone from the bar tenders to the owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful! MoMo’s the food truck did our catering and it was fabulous! If you haven’t been you need to go. We had my favorite drunken chicken, red beans and rice, chicken gumbo and a potato bar and more. It was delicious!!

Food is amazing! The staff is awesome. I’ve been there a couple times during normal hours and had an event there as well. Everything has been perfect each time!

We soooo wanted to like Ivy League. We are mead lovers! But THIS. IS. NOT. MEAD. Please do not judge mead as a whole by what Ivy League is producing. We are routing for the mead community. It is gluten free, it is the only alcohol I can drink. BUT this is not it. We gave them two tries over a year and it was worse the second time. We have visited over a dozen meaderies this year, all over the U.S. Ivy League is the worst mead we have ever tasted. It’s undrinkable. If you are new to mead, please don’t judge your experience on what they have to offer. You are better going to a liquor stores such as Hop City with a diverse mead selection. Some great meads to try are Dansk, Schramm’s, Moonlight, Chaucer’s, Charm City, Queen’s Reward, and so many others that are delicious. So many diverse flavors, whether sweet or dry, something for everyone.
The bartender was very kind and gracious, she did not charge us for the flight that we could not drink. However, one of the owners was at the bar, and the children of the owner were there running amok. As we pulled up, we could see the owner screaming at the children to try to get them under control, but it did not present a very inviting drinking environment. The entire time that we were there, the children were screaming and running around and throwing balls at each other and both the parent and the bartender were trying to get them under control with no success.

We had a great time hanging out and celebrating with some mead on a Friday night. There was a pretty decent crowd and everyone seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere and the many different mead concoctions. I understand they'll be offering a few new beers soon too. Head down to Alabaster and give Ivy League a try!

I had a flight of 4 meads and everything was great. Plus they have different classes that come in each day.

Very expensive went on a Friday night they had bands took forever to get a drink. The band was so loud you couldn’t even communicate with the bartender you had to write down what you want on a piece of paper.

We had our daughter’s wedding reception here and it was great! It’s a brewery that specializes in Mead ( fermented honey to make alcohol) but they work with your party to provide any other drinks and catering you may need. But I have to say, the mead is delicious! The venue can seat around 100 counting the very cute outside seating area that has a fire pit and standing kerosene lamps. The inside floors are hardwood and the ceiling is dotted with decorative rustic chandeliers. They have a pool room and a cute Photo Booth which turned out to be a hit. They have a small stage for either DJ or band and enough room for dancing. This place has everything!

Love, love, love this place. It's like sitting around your house, chatting with all the family and friends that just drop in to share a Mead. That's what we did in "the old days", altho I had no idea I drinking mead. Lol!

We loved the location and the facilities and the service but did not like the mead. Unfortunately, we won't be going back since they don't serve any other type of drinks. We would definitely go back if they served just a few normal domestic and IPA beer.

I had never had mead before until I came here, and it is really good! They have a great specialty crafted selection of different flavors to try, so there is something for everyone. I love the atmosphere, and the building is beautiful. It's definitely family and pet friendly, and the staff is personable. My family goes here often now, and what I've come to love about Ivy League is that they are more than just a place to get a good drink, they are almost like a community center in a way. They host various classes all week long where you can learn a variety of things like ASL, how to make sushi, painting, or cheese making, and they have trivia and karaoke regularly for fun. You can even play pool, some board or arcade games, and they have a beautiful outdoor space. Ivy League is definitely a fantastic place to go if you're looking for an atmosphere with good vibes.
