I’ve seen this place on my TikTok for a few weeks and knew we needed to stop here while on our trip to Birmingham. It was a little busy when we got there but they had a great system going. The service was amazing and everybody was super nice! The cupcakes were definitely worth the 4 hr drive and worth every penny. The sweet potato pie cupcake was my favorite! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town. :)

If Anyone gives less than 5 Stars they are lying and hating. I drove all the way from Panama City beach Florida to try this place and they are better than what social media described. That banana pudding cup cake had me dancing like I was in church. I ordered a half dozen variety and they all tasted amazing. Every cupcake was moist with a well balanced rich flavor.

GET THE POUND CAKE!! We stumbled upon K&J’s after a nice lunch in Uptown! My Mom recalled their videos from TikTok and we decided to pop in. By far the BEST decision we made that day! We were warmly greeted as we entered the beautifully decorated shop and looked over the available treats. We decided on the Pound Cake and Ooey Gooey Butter cupcake with scoops of BlueBell ice cream! The cupcake was moist and delicious with a rich tasty icing. The large piece of Butter Cake topping the cupcake could have been a knockout hit on its own!! GET THE POUND CAKE!! Don’t tell my grandma, but the pound cake was by far the best I’ve had in many years!! The owner was extremely kind and a joy to speak with! You can feel the love for their customers and the pride in their product as soon as you enter the building!! TikTok did not lead us astray and I hope this bakery will be around for decades to come!!
