My favorite place to go to treat myself
A new place now since they moved and remodeled. But still the same one good Mizu!!
The service was extremely lacking. We got one drink and sat the rest of our meal without a refill. They played an OBNOXIOUS happy birthday song on loop so loud it felt like I was having a nightmare about being stuck at a Chuck E Cheese. The food was so salty I didn’t eat it and when they brought the bill the server didn’t even care to ask what was wrong with the food.

My friend and I went to eat at Misu for dinner and to watch a movie next door afterwards. the food was great and our waiter was amazing, but we couldn’t finish our food because we were full, so we put our food in to go boxes and asked another waiter to hold our food for us and she said they would have it for us when we came back. After our movie we go back and another waiter said our food was thrown away. Seeing it was 54$ for the both of us I was very disappointed.

Food is ok. The hibachi show is slightly lacking. Typically when you go to hibachi style restaurant you are anticipating a show by the cook. Here the cooks rush around and don't talk or interact much with the patrons. Dining room and waiting area need a much needed renovation. Server was very polite and attentive. Noodles and rice were really good as well as the chicken.

Chicken hibachi 5 stars! Generous proportions! Every waiter has been friendly and efficient. Restaurant is clean. Prices are reasonable. We come here at least 1x a week!

Food was fantastic as always. When we go to Mizu, we sit in the dining area and don't have to wait or sit with a huge group. We get a better dining experience for us plus the same great food. We enjoy it so much.

Normally, I love Mizu and have nothing to report. Tonight, a friend and I stopped in before some last minute Christmas shopping and the smell was evident when we walked in.
The smell seemed to increase as we went to the regular dining area to be seated.
We ordered drinks and the jalapeno appetizer. We were able to enjoy the appetizer before the smell kicked up extra strong. It just happened that the smell rose dramatically around the time our sushi entrees were served and neither of us were able to eat our meal due to the smell.
When the wait staff came to check on us we told her the smell kept us from enjoying our meal. She denied any smell and asked another woman to come see us. The second woman (management maybe?) She also denied a smell and asked patrons around us who half heart hearted agreed there was a smell. Very rank, sewage smell wafting through the restaurant in waves is no way to eat sush.

Normally good but plz fix your door dash times. DD says you close at 10 not 9:30. I really wanted sushi😭😭 and I had to fight to get a refund(ik that's not your fault but they said you accepted and started making it)
Drove from Hoover because our two local places leave a little to be desired. It was worth the drive.

We came in late just a little before closing and they were still super friendly. We didn't do the hibachi this time but did order hibachi to be cooked in the back. They presented us with a heaping plate of food that was fresh and wonderful. Our filets were tender and juicy. We started with the Dancing Dragon roll and it was yummy as always.
