Food was great as usual

the gumbo was awful, it was made like a stew ( gravy base). Had to wait 10 minutes for rice.

This was a pickup order. Food was ready when I arrived. It stayed hot on my way home. Food was tasty.

The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. This was my first time trying this restaurant. Got fish, fries, pound cake and frozen strawberry lemonade.

The catfish wasn’t what I thought it would be.Just wasn’t good so that’s my opinion.

Great strip mall spot with delicious po' boys. I had the catfish and everything was excellent, from the expertly-fried catfish to the creamy, tangy remoulade, and the perfect Gambino bread; soft, but still crackly with a pleasant chew. Will definitely be back to try the shrimp!

Ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo and it was disgusting. It was thin and soupy because there was no roux, tasted overpoweringly salty from all the seasoning (I gagged), there was hardly any chicken apart from a few small shreds, no trinity of onions peppers and celery, no ocra, and was not worth how much it cost. Overall it was a very negative experience and I strongly suggest changing the recipe, because it was not gumbo. Their sandwiches are alright though.

I ordered a ham salad (to go) over the weekend and to my surprise, the salad was HOT and WILTED. I think the cooks may have been trying to elevate the experience but inadvertently ruined the experience. Imagine my response when I get home and find a hot protein practically melting the cold salad especially since the styrofoam box was shut tight and the bag was tied up...let's think this through next time guys -

I have been here on three different occasions and each time they have consistently provided me with OUTSTANDING customer service and my food has also been worth the money. Great taste and great portion size. I will continue to come back. My favorite meal is fish tacos with a side of fried shrimp. Yummy! Looking forward to trying their seafood gumbo next.
