Food wasn’t the best but the service was awesome. Ian was our waiter and seemed to be one of the only servers on the place. He made sure our drinks were full and took care of everyone else. Very sweet kid. Professional and personable. We really enjoyed it!

Decoded to take my 3 kiddos out for dinner tonight and thought it'd be a great idea to hit up o Charley's as we haven't been in a while. Really wish we wouldn't have. Service was fine but the food was terrible. The oil has to be at least a week old. The food came out cold and was just overall very bad. We will be reluctant to return. Oh and the response I got I sent an email with no reply big surprise

My wife and I went to this place for Lunch. It was horrible. The food was hammered...fish so dry and shrimp so oil soaked the food was inedible. Now, we also ordered a spinach artichoke dip that came with oil soaked tortilla chips and the dip was like a soup and not even lukewarm. Two of the three rolls our server brought were like hardtack. Could not eat them. I opted for Mac and cheese with my seafood platter...catfish, the shrimp and stuffed crab. Suffice to say the mac and cheese was macaroni and some cheddar cheese sprinkled over it and apparently melted with a brule torch or a quick zap in a salamander..anyway..dry as a weathered bone in the Sahara. Now, we could not eat the meals. I squeezed enough old, smelly cooking oil out of 3 deep fried shrimp to lubricate a tricycle...My wife had the fish and chips. I did show all of this to my waiter, Jacob and he offered to not charge me but I told him that was not my wish. I wanted him to see it and the manager to know. He said the Manager was aware. Not Surprisingly...THE MANAGER NEVER came to our table or showed him/her self. Quite poor, if truth be told. Now, on top of all this, the seats we sat in need recovered or replaced, the front entry windows on the doors were very dirty as was the table across from our booth. Jacob did take 19.25 off of my 40 dollar lunch. It was a nice gesture. But SHAME on the Manager. Now this restaurant is in Alabaster, Al and We will never go back. If you go, good luck. If the General Manager, Michael Hoffmann sees this, I hope these things will be corrected. If he were there today, 27 August 2022 at 2:20 p.m. and did not come to our table that would be too bad. If the Prep people or fry cook..or whomever cannot simply use a timed fryer and get food to the table Hot and edible..they should not be working. And change the oil...or at least clean it. M.N. Katelyn was our server and she went above and beyond! Food came out fresh, hot and in a timely manner. Wonderful dining experience. We are really happy to see this place turning around. Management was incredibly nice and engaged in our experience. We will be back!

We arrived around 6:50, were greeted with nice people and our waitress was especially nice, however it took 50 something minutes for just our food to get to the table.... Upon arrival it was exceptionally dry and noticeably been sitting there, and tasted awful. You could hear the staff in the back laughing and goofing off the entire time. I have tried calling to speak to the manager twice about this but it is apparent he doesn't want to hear honesty and take responsibility as I keep getting excuses for him not coming to the phone. I don't know recommend eating here as apparently nobody cares what goes on nor the food. Also I don't recommend going to bathroom as it is wildly disgusting, floors nasty, the women's white receptacles in the stalls have obviously never been taken emptied, crap all over the mirror and sink areas. All in all don't go there unless you absolutely don't care about anything.

We arrived around 7:30 on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was practically empty although nearby Jim n Nicks and Longhorn were busy. Long story short: the manager came out to apologize for our wait about 40 minutes into our wait and offered to comp our food if we would stay. The food finally showed up. It was nothing but a chicken finger plate and a "steak" and chicken finger combo. Despite our wait, the plates had obviously sat under a warming lamp. My husband's fries were cold and his mac n cheese was nothing but dried out Mac with shredded cheddar melted on top. My steak was grey and inedible. We ate the chicken fingers and left hungry. We've had similar experiences here in the past. We will never come back. The restaurant needs to just close.

As many of the recent reviews describe, this location is less than desirable. Dirty floors and under tables even though the restaurant just opened. Ordered the half club and potato soup. The bread on the club was horribly dry/stale, the soup was cold and still thick as though it had just come from the fridge. Flies everywhere. The best part was that our server was nice. It’s a shame management and operation of this restaurant will hurt her and others paychecks. Thank you Lauren, you were great. Check #1073013 11:30 6/22/22

Went in was told wait a moment to find someone who can serve you. Once we got our table our server was great. The food however was horrible. Steak came out cold and tasted like salty water. Will never go back again.

Have heard that this location in Alabaster is not going to be open much longer and after a visit for lunch yesterday, I understand why. Arrived around 12:20 and was told the wait would be 10 minutes(turned out to be 25) even though the restaurant had probably 30 empty tables. Hostess said that there was only 2 servers and they were both at their maximum number of tables. When we did get seated, our server was great but super busy as you would imagine. Food was ok to bad. Wife said the salmon was dry though the pork chop was pretty good. The coleslaw had turned and she nearly got sick after a single bite. I had the Southern Chicken tenders and that was pretty good but the sides of mac & cheese appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours as it was very dried out, and no at all as M&C should taste. The bread was awesome as usual and the server got a solid 8-9 out of 10 or there would have been a lower over all rating. I don't know how restaurants can survive with the current climate, millions of unfilled jobs and millions of people who don't want to take them. Maybe pickup only is the option because the current setup at this restaurant did not work for us and we are not likely to return.
We were greeted by the rudest hostess I’ve ever seen,not only was she rude to in coming customers but also to the girl working with her. They were not staffed well at all. Our server Ian was awesome,he was called back in to work after working the early shift and missed Mother’s Day dinner with his own mom,he gets a big thumbs up. Food was average at best.

The waitress Lauren D brought me the wrong drink. I asked for sprite and gave me Dr. Pepper. She then came back 20 minutes later and told me that they had ran out of catfish that I had ordered. I then told her to never mind I order just bring my child order to her. She brought that on time. So after all that I asked for my ticket which she brought it after 5 minutes and she never showed back up to get my money to pay for it. I had to stop another waitress to pay my bill. My first visit was awful. I hope you all does not have her as a waitress. I've ordered food online before with way better service than this. It ruined my Mother's Day dinner

One word. AWFUL. Do not waste your time/money on this establishment. Now, our server was fantastic. I even felt sorry for him. It was not his fault the food was so disgusting. The fried foods tasted like the grease was 6 months old. Grilled food was mediocre but at least we could eat it. The tables/floors were sticky.

They've screwed up my order too many times.This place has lost a customer.I've been shorted items I ordered and had other terrible stuff added that I never ordered .It's happened too many times for me now.I really liked it many years ago but the quality has gone downhill.

Worst service ever in my life. Close the doors. One girl was eating food off plates on the line. Waited an hour for food and ended up canceling order. The cook elbow was touching food he handled. I worked 9 hours and no lunch, i just wanted a decent meal. Asked for a refund and the manager threw keys on counter and walked away. waitresses taking selfies. I was so patient. I dont want to eat out anymore because this is becoming the standard.
