My best friend and I went here because they showed up as a place to drink wine. The place is nice inside. We ordered a wine flight. The guy behind the bar wasn't very informational on what we was getting. He just poured it and served it to us. He wasn't as friendly as expected. The wine experience was nothing to brag about either. We did meet the owner and he was a really friendly guy! We gave him our thoughts on improving the wine experience. I wish this business lots of great wishes but the guy behind the bar needs to be friendlier and more knowledgeable!! The food was good!
So, we had a terrible experience… We stopped for a cocktail prior to having a haircut, but no one acknowledged us or assisted us in any way. We’re relatively patient. We typically don’t get upset, but the bartender looked at us, then assisted another couple that walked in after us.
An Unforgettable Experience at The Wine Bunker!
The Wine Bunker in Alabaster has quickly become my go-to spot for a relaxing evening and exceptional wine. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The selection of wines is outstanding, carefully curated, diverse, and always offering something new and exciting to discover.
What truly sets The Wine Bunker apart, though, is the staff. Every team member is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They go above and beyond for their customers, whether it's recommending the perfect bottle, remembering your favorite pour, or simply checking in to make sure you're enjoying your experience. It’s rare to find that level of personal attention and hospitality.
This is more than just a wine bar; it’s a community hub where good wine, good people, and great vibes come together effortlessly. I can’t recommend The Wine Bunker enough! It’s a true gem in Alabaster!
First time visiting, it was a neat place. Not huge but has space inside and outside. We got some bread and oil to eat and the others in my group enjoyed a wine tasting and a smoked old fashioned. Nice atmosphere and friendly employees. Looks like they have live music at times altho while we were there before 7 on a Friday night there wasnt music. Plenty of parking out front as well.
Great hidden treasure in Alabaster. It is truly a wine bunker shout out to the designer. Cute, chill and quaint. Small stage for live music makes it so intimate. Great for a neighborhood hangout, date night or just a nice spot to unwind.
Great service drinks were amazing ! The food all smelled amazing i ordered bruschetta and it was so fresh and delicious. Small patio outside also . Great spot for summer and all year round!
So I’m a bit biased, cause one of the owners is a Marine, lol. Drinks and vibe always awesome. This is the bar like cheers-everyone knows your name!!
What I truly love is being greeted warmly as soon as I step into a place, and Jason had that down to a tee with his bright smile! He took the time to walk us through the menu, making everything sound mouthwatering.
We were lucky enough to snag a spot on the patio, soaking in a breathtaking sunset while sipping on glasses of red wine and indulging in some fantastic conversation. It was an unforgettable experience!
I would recommend this spot. 💕✨💕
Quality toilet seats.
Did the Wednesday wine pairing and pasta. Food was small fresh pasta bites that were amazing! Paired really well with the Italian wines offered. Great place for a drink and bite anytime.
Great place!

Great cocktail list! I love the wine or whiskey flights. Unassuming from the outside with a chill, cozy, upscale vibe on the inside. They don't have a kitchen so all bites are prepared behind the bar - good for what they are!
Was in town visiting a friend and wanted a fun but chill night time activity. Decided to stop in and try out the music bingo, and it was great! The staff was friendly and Emily who hosted the bingo was great.
Really cool bar, great atmosphere, and an even better story behind the concept. The main issue unfortunately is the service. I’ve been to the wine bunker three times now, and all three times the bartenders were a bit stand-off ish, and all three times at least one part of my order was forgotten about and they had to be reminded. Not sure if it is because they’re just stretched thin and need more help behind the bar, but whatever the case is, it needs to be addressed.
Delicious Flatbreads and charcuterie boards, amazing Reese cup martini by G. Singo, trivia and live music make this our new favorite place!
Went by there today for the first time and met Jason one of the owners. Had great conversation and tried Wistle Pig 12 for the first time. Jason was very cool and excited to be in the area building the small business he has.
Make sure to stop by there on the way home to wind down for a quick chat and sip of your favorite beverage and experience what Jason and the team has put together.
Support local businesses and let Jason know how your day went when you arrive.
