I have been going to Catfish Cabin for years and always had great food and great service. It's so sad that they have to close. I will miss this place. But actually tonight they were out of everything. I understand that because they are closing but never in my lifetime have I ever had a server be so rude as the one we had tonight. Whoever trained her when she first started waiting tables must not have told her YOU NEVER TALK BACK TO A COSTUMER AND TELL THEM THEY ARE RUDE......

Staff was nice but the food itself left a lot to be desired. The hush puppies and salad were the only items that tasted good. The bacon wrapped shrimp did not taste like you'd expect them to they were rather bland. The cheese grits lacked seasoning. The steak was overcooked on one end and undercooked on the other(asked for medium rare and actually got a medium on one end and rare on the other lol) overall it's not terrible but it wasn't good. As always these are my personal opinions.

It has been a good 20 years since we ate here. Food was delicious! Not disappointed and worth the drive today. Melissa was our server and she was awesome. Very friendly and attentive. Won’t wait so long to go back!

I love Catfish cabin, the hush puppies were amazing. The only thing that would have made them better was if the little red headed waitress I had named Alivia would have fed them to me by hand! Boy I would drink my coke so fast just to see her come back to refill it!!! I'll definitely be back!

My family and I went there this past Friday night, I ordered the seafood platter and some of my family ordered some fish with a baked potato. Just to say I was not impressed with the $23.00 seafood platter, that I could not eat. 2 small pieces of catfish, 5 shrimp, around 8 shallots "that tasted like rubber, " the gumbo didn't look like gumbo. I really can't say what it looked like. I've lived in Louisiana for over 20 years, I know what gumbo is supposed to look and smell li

Catfish Cabin allowed me to host a 50th Anniversary Party for my parents recently. Even with the pandemic at hand, they accommodated 40 people nicely. Brenda was exceptional with setting up the arrangements and allotting an entire room to my party, and allowing me to arrive early to decorate.Special callout to Desiree, our primary server, who is a Sweetheart, by the way. Desiree was outstanding to everyone in our group. She was upbeat, chipper, super polite, a very hard worker, and a big part of the success of this party.The food was outstanding. I could eat a bucket of the hush puppies! I did not hear the first complaint from any of the guests in our party about the staff or the food. One negative is that they do not offer frog legs anymore. Still....no complaints.My parents were completely surprised with the party and all the guest who attended.A HUGE "THANK YOU" TO BRENDA AND DESIREE AND THE ENTIRE STAFF AT CATFISH CABIN!!
