This place is nasty. I had 2 hairs in my sushi roll. A blonde hair and a black hair. If you work with food you need to be clean and always work with hair nets on!

This is Davey L. Rich, the Burger Guy from the Best Burgers in America Association. I love Japanese food as well. The food at Ichiban's is awesome. Fresh served and BIG portions make it a great place to fill up on the best Oriental food on Sand Mountain.
Food great, but my wife asked for no cucumber on her rolls. Sent it back to be fixed and they sent it back with cucumber still inside the rolls. They also brought my food out long before hers, and made her wait. Terrible service. Only thing holding the place together is the food.

Why offer online ordering or pickup service if you don’t answer the phone and you turn off the online option but when I walk in there is barely anyone there and the workers are just standing there laughing and talking

The staff here have been incredibly disrespectful over my past several visits. I'm not sure what changed, but the atmosphere is atrocious. This place has some good food, but there's no excuse for treating anyone rudely or with any disrespect. Also, the wait time is long for the food, and even the quoted wait time is wrong. I have placed several orders and been told they would be ready in 30-45mins. Where I have caught myself waiting for over an hour and a half for multiple visits. Therefore, this is not a lunch place, and honestly, it shouldn't be a dinner one either. If you want hibachi, just go to Sakura in Guntersville. This place has some great people and amazing food.
