My very pregnant wife and I decided to go to the Waffle House on this nice Monday morning and immediately noticed it was packed (two cooks, two servers, and the manager), but as my wife used to be a server, she suggested we just be patient with the staff and stay. A server came up to us and asked if we were eating in, as multiple guests were getting to-go food, and we informed them we were in fact eating in. She went and told the manager so we could get the next server in rotation, and the manager, Danelle, looked at us and rolled her eyes. I immediately wanted to leave, but my wife, who was equally annoyed, said, “She’s hardly doing anything, so she won’t be serving us” (she was just standing there most of the time we were there). We then had a wonderful server who was very attentive and was continuing to set the shift up for success by doing the busy work in between serving her guests. We sadly didn’t get her name, but we definitely tipped her well. It’s people like that manager that make people not want to return to an establishment that you frequent, but it’s servers like we had that will keep us coming.

I refused to go to Waffle House for the longest, can't stand the servers screaming out your order to be prepared by the cook/chef, while we visited family during the holidays, we visited one and they have toned it down. Highly recommend them now. Prices are good also. Very clean.
I ordered a Texas bacon cheese steak and the bacon on it wasn't cooked all the way at all. I almost threw up on Christmas.

The food is aight but the worst thing yall ever did was to stop taking orders over the phone! It’s a huge inconvenience. Just pick up the dang phone!!!!! I go up there and it’s not a single car in the parking lot. Why can they not pick up the phone? Then you go in there and no one speaks to you for a whole 10 mins. So rude. I am honestly sick of this place.
Just ate there would love to see wheat bread and actual caramelized onions on the patty melts again! Whats with the dry half toasted bread??? When you order a double hashbrown with cheese please add 2 squares of cheese instead of one, the customerpays for 2 , pretty sure that was the cook running around outside in the parking lot with filthy coveralls on and a paper waffle house hat, carrying a broom handle ?
Ordered a fiesta omelette with hashbrowns, the hashbrowns were burnt, I told the waitress and she argued with me about it and said that is the way they are cooked regularly and suggested next time I order tell them I want them light. I wish I could upload a picture of the meal! Also the fiesta omelette was so greasy it was nauseating! ALBERTVILLE WAFFLE HOUSE IS AWFUL AND I WILL NOT BE BACK

Had to ask 3 times for jelly. Bathroom Was nasty. My husband and grandaughter got bad bad sick after eating a waffle. They were the only two that ate a waffle so we know it was the waffle or the syrup. Will never be in Waffle House again. Poor poor management if any. Nasty place. 36 dollars for 2 adults And One child way over priced and then them getting sick. Awful and disgusting
