We came to town for a wedding with 12 of us staying in one house. We decided to grab takeout for supper so I called Firetruck BBQ. They were able to accommodate our order and we were hoping for the best. We ordered 3 slabs of ribs, a chicken and some sides. Being a self proclaimed BBQ connoisseur, i was somewhat skeptical, especially since I'm a baby back guy and all they had were st. Louis style ribs, but we were in a pinch. I must say, I was blown away! Absolutely delicious ribs and chicken. The sides were excellent and I think I've found my new favorite bbq sauce! Be sure to pick up an extra bottle, it's the perfect mix of sweet and tangy.

The test for me is always brisket as it’s hard to find great Texas style brisket in Alabama. Unfortunately, the brisket here doesn’t quite stack up. It was a little overdone and tasted more roasted than smoked. The people are nice and friendly, and I may come visit again to give the ribs a chance.
Parking: Small lot with tight spacing that fills up at lunch and dinner hours.

The owners and staff are very friendly and the food is delish!!
Food is good but is stored cafeteria style so it may vary in freshness. Service is essentially fast food style. No complaints & I’ll definitely eat there again. Building is nice looking, well maintained & drink refills are easily accessible without having to wait in line over & over.
