“We came to town for a wedding with 12 of us staying in one house. We decided to grab takeout for supper so I called Firetruck BBQ. They were able to accommodate our order and we were hoping for the best. We ordered 3 slabs of ribs, a chicken and some sides. Being a self proclaimed BBQ connoisseur, i was somewhat skeptical, especially since I'm a baby back guy and all they had were st. Louis style ribs, but we were in a pinch. I must say, I was blown away! Absolutely delicious ribs and chicken. The sides were excellent and I think I've found my new favorite bbq sauce! Be sure to pick up an extra bottle, it's the perfect mix of sweet and tangy.”

We are very non traditional, and when we asked for a 2-tiered cookie cake with chocolate icing, we didn’t expect the masterpiece they delivered at all. This cake was incredibly simple but so beautiful, and tasted like pure heaven. We can’t wait to eat the topper on our first anniversary.”

Also the pretzel and the cheese that comes with it is worth the try! The drinks are amazing. My wife really likes the winter ale beer and the barbie beer was on point! Y’all check this place out!! Also the live band was good played a variety of songs ! #MotherMoonPie”

“We were coming thru travelling back to Mississippi. We'd had a rough five days being caregivers and this was the very thing we needed. The BEST fried chicken I've ever had in my life and I love fried chicken! The staff were so friendly with customers and each other. I got a special blessing leaving, a man wanted to just give me a hug, maybe it was that I hollered out a thanks to the cooks in the hot back kitchen or just the good Lord knew what I needed.”

“Food was good, but the cashier didn't ask if we wanted drinks, which we didn't. But she added 2 drinks anyway, which added an additional $5.18 plus tax to our order.”

“The atmosphere is amazing and I haven’t had anything on the menu that I didn’t like. The smash burger comes highly recommended by me. I know a lot of the younger staff personally and I appreciate the fact that they are out working and learning the value of a dollar. Today though, and the reason for giving only 4 stars, I overheard a member of management yelling at the kitchen staff for a little mix up on the order placed by someone a few customers in front of me. I have worked for 3 years at a very busy and very popular Lake Martin restaurant and I have never spoken to anyone or heard a member of management speak to anyone like this lady was speaking to her staff today. Mistakes happen but it wasn’t anything that couldn’t be fixed easily. Yelling at the staff is unacceptable and not the way to keep good staff, which is hard to come by these days. HR: Listen closely to the staff’s complaints because they are legit and need to be addressed.”

“I normally love Zaxby's but the last couple of times I went the chicken is incredibly salty and they put so much sauce on my nibblers that it was nothing but mush, it looked like they covered the bottom tray in sauce!!”
