“I was starving yesterday after work. I walked to JR’S.. Closed. Walked over to the Italian resturant… Closed. Walked over to Carlisle’s… closed. So I kept walking until I got to Taqueria Avita and thankfully they were open. I ordered the shredded chicken quesadilla with rice and beans with a tall glass Coca Cola. I tell you it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I received fast, friendly service and the food was on point, amazing!! That glass coke hit the spot too. Fresh avocado and lettuce. Yum! I definitely recommend this restaurant 100% and I just wanted to thank them for saving my sanity yesterday 😆”

“Yesterday I placed a togo order. I've been wanting try Carib Kitchen for a while but, never have until yesterday. Ms.Dianne is very sweet & is an outstanding cook. We loved everything we ordered. We're gonna go one Sunday after Church & try the buffet. Do yourself a favor and go order from there. You wont be sorry. “Finally someone that knows how to fry chicken!!! I haven't had fried chicken this good since 1993!! The mac and cheese was home made, and was bordering on too much cheese if that's possible. Best black eyed peas I've ever eaten, I'm curious as to what they seasoned them with! I'll definitely be back!!”

“Bru 63 absolutely nailed it! I stopped in and tried their caramel latte, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve had—perfectly balanced, smooth, and not overly sweet. You can tell they really care about quality and getting every detail right. Great atmosphere and friendly service to match. I’ll definitely be back!”

“To the 3 (yes 3) people who ran the store tonight (2/28/26) if nobody else will give you credit I most definitely will. I have never in my life seen a store decide to try to keep running and to keep running efficiently as though they had a full crew. The new kid in front,the manager and another member running the kitchen I'm sure they were overwhelmed and exhausted but they pushed through and succeeded where others would've failed. For those of you that were there and handing out attitude and disrespect to still be treated professionally you're lucky because with what they were going through a proper cursing out would've been justified in my eyes...but they didn't they remained calm and working and corporate should be not only proud but very accommodating..KUDOS GUYS 🫶🏾”

The crinkle fries and Zax Sauce are highlights, the appetizer menu has a great selection for a quick bite. Overall, it's a solid spot for a quick chicken fix”

“We were coming thru travelling back to Mississippi. We'd had a rough five days being caregivers and this was the very thing we needed. The BEST fried chicken I've ever had in my life and I love fried chicken! The staff were so friendly with customers and each other. I got a special blessing leaving, a man wanted to just give me a hug, maybe it was that I hollered out a thanks to the cooks in the hot back kitchen or just the good Lord knew what I needed.”
