Jake’s , one of my favorite places to eat. Waitresses are always so nice. My favorite dish is the hamburger steak. The atmosphere is so welcoming and friendly.

Got there one hour before they closed and kitchen staff left before making our food. Most food was ice cold waitress warmed up mac and cheese in microwave and reserved it to us . Was told theis was best restruant in town . Feel very sorry for people who live here if this is the best they have to offer . Sorry but I would not send anyone to this restuant even if it was last place to eat . No one cared about the fact that I complained .

My wife and I don’t live in Alexander City. When we are in town at the lake we make a special effort to support local businesses. We have eaten a Jake’s before and found the food to be very good. We ate lunch there today. We both ordered the fried pork chop. We were disappointed when we found the pork chop to be tough and difficult to cut and eat. We brought this to the attention of 2 servers. They told the manager. He advised us it must be the cut of the meat, but never apologized or offered to get us something else. In my opinion this is poor customer service.

We eat at Jakes nearly every Sunday after church with our grandchildren. We drive up from Tallassee, AL to worship and.spend time.with our grandchildren. Food and atmosphere is great! My granddaughters love it! And it's a rocks throw from First Baptist Church Alex City. Good country cooking.

My daughter and I had dinner here last night and it was perfect! Porterhouse and salmon were both great entrees, margarita was so good! Our server who's name I can't remember to save my life was super sweet and did a great job taking care of us. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
Chicken Monterey was good. Broccoli was fair, coleslaw was ok.
