This is my favorite place to eat REAL Mexican food. The salsa and chips are truly homemade and fresh. The sauces taste as if they came straight out of an abuela's home kitchen. The mole is amazing. I go out of my way to stop here to eat. I took the pic after I had started eating but you get the point!
I was starving yesterday after work. I walked to JR’S.. Closed. Walked over to the Italian resturant… Closed. Walked over to Carlisle’s… closed. So I kept walking until I got to Taqueria Avita and thankfully they were open. I ordered the shredded chicken quesadilla with rice and beans with a tall glass Coca Cola. I tell you it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I received fast, friendly service and the food was on point, amazing!! That glass coke hit the spot too. Fresh avocado and lettuce....
Stopped in while in Alex City. Very good food, helpful staff. I had one taco de ceviche and one chicken enmolada. My wife had two tacos al pastor. We shared a small guacamole.
Worth visiting. Next time we are in the area, we will return.
