We went on a Thursday night, specifically wanting to sit outside. I asked the hostess, Rene, who also turned out to be our waitress, if there was outdoor seating. She didn't hesitate in saying the lights were off outside, but follow her, she'd turn them on. It was beautiful out there. Loved the dark boardwalk, & my daughter loved the catfish & turtles..fed em 2 pieces of okra...ALSO, my grilled Mahi Mahi was very, very good. 5 stars, we'll be back. Live band fri/sat pm's. Can't wait!

If the Lord wills, we eat there about every other Saturday night. It's the best ribeye steak we have found in the southeast. It's difficult to find a restaurant that knows where to buy the loins and can keep a cook who is consistent with how to cook them. It is fabulous! It also helps that we have our favorite waitress take care of us. Thanks for a great place to eat!

We had a large party and the restaurant was very accommodating. We had wonderful service and the food was excellent! It is a diverse menu with lots of options for a big group!
We had a group of 9 celebrating an 80th Birthday. Food came out fresh & hot all together in a timely manner. We had delicious appetizers of Fried Boudin & Jalapeño Cheese Curds. We ordered different plates….. crawfish etouffée fried shrimp po-boy, hamburger steak, fried shrimp & onion rings, chicken florentine, red beans & rice, etc… ALL were plentiful and delicious!!! Don’t forget to make room for their homemade lemon meringue pie! Absolutely one of the best we’ve had! Our waitress was very hospitable & our drinks stayed full the entire meal. Highly recommend the Buckboard Restaurant in Andalusia, Alabama.

A couple Mustang Clubs got together and decided to descend on The Buckboard today. Talk about making a reservation... They opened an hour early, we showed up with 52 people in 40 Mustangs.The food was great, service exceptional. I can't thank the whole staff for making our event memorable
