“A group of ladies came for dinner and it was delicious! Chicken and dumplings with cornbread was homemade and the fried catfish was seasoned well and fried crispy. Paisley our waitress was very attentive and nice.. don’t miss out eating at this gem!”

“We ate at David’s Catfish House tonight. Amazing food! Freshly made onion rings were on the menu and they did not disappoint. We also had the catfish filets, baked potato, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious. The waitress was so sweet and took time to visit for a bit. We will definitely be back!”

“I LOVE the Buckboard. It truly is my favorite place to eat in Andalusia. However, the service the last few times we have been has been less than ideal. All of the waitresses who have been there a while are wonderful! The owners are SO SWEET! But they are going to lose business because of the attitude from new employees working up front.”

“Good buffet, Different menu each day, you can get either one trip, or multiple trips for slightly more. They are kind of hidden, and cater more to the military pilots who are using the airfield as well as locals.”

“I can not thank captain d’s enough I recently brought my grandfather from the nursing home to try fried oysters my lord the service was outstanding our food came out hot and fresh customer service was excellent there was this particular lady I think she told us she recently became general manager if I can recall if I can give that women the shirt off my back I would not only was her customer service excellent she helped my grandfather with all his concerns . 10/10 experience we will be back ❤️”

“We have bought boiled peanuts here several times. The flavor is great but 4 out of 5 purchases were undercooked so I gave 4 stars versus 5 for this reason. I hope the owner sees this because these peanuts could be awesome if they were cooked an hour longer before pulling.”

“We are here on Christmas and this place was great! Great service, great food. The staff were friendly even with the restaurant being super busy.
We came with a large party and they had us circle what we wanted on the menu - you can ask for either the Chinese entree menu or Juicy Seafood. I had the beef yellow curry and it was excellent.”

“These people are awesome. We go late in the evening before closing, and they always serve delicious food. They are very welcoming to the children and play with them as if they were their own. We get to relax with the ordering because they give us a marker and a menu. Letting us take our time with no rush from a waitress.”

“Always wonderful friendly service! We’ve had the opportunity on multiple occasions to do the takeout during the Covid since they are using it to go window. I don’t know the lady’s name but she is always so friendly makes the experience even better and the food has been great.”

“Wasn't greeted at all. Girl at the register folded her arms and laid them and her head on the register. She never said, "Can I help you?" or "What can I get for you?" We just had to start ordering. We was asked if we wanted double fries or fries and coleslaw. Was not given another choice. In the ladies room their are 2 stalls, small and handicap, the handicap does not have a lock on the door which is a good 4 feet away from the toliet. Food was hot and as good as other restraunts in the area. We ate out of to-go boxes. Over all very disappointed. I meant to put 2 stars”
