“We have bought boiled peanuts here several times. The flavor is great but 4 out of 5 purchases were undercooked so I gave 4 stars versus 5 for this reason. I hope the owner sees this because these peanuts could be awesome if they were cooked an hour longer before pulling.“

“We ate at David’s Catfish House tonight. Amazing food! Freshly made onion rings were on the menu and they did not disappoint. We also had the catfish filets, baked potato, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious. The waitress was so sweet and took time to visit for a bit. We will definitely be back!“

“If you’re ever heading south from Nashville to the Gulf coast, Florida, you must go through Andalusia, AL and eat at Big Mike’s. The food here is fantastic!!! My sister had filet and I had the grilled chicken. Quality food and great service.“

“Been here a couple times while travelling recently and the food has been hot, fresh and made to order. The place is impeccably clean and the service at the counter has been prompt , kind and efficient. Brought our food to the table and made sure we had everything we needed .
Last time we were in, the guy who rang our order up brought out a 2 and back potatoes without us asking because he thought the first one he brought out was not quite done.
Happy, upbeat, pleasant folks doing a great job.“

“Always wonderful friendly service! We’ve had the opportunity on multiple occasions to do the takeout during the Covid since they are using it to go window. I don’t know the lady’s name but she is always so friendly makes the experience even better and the food has been great.“

“I LOVE the Buckboard. It truly is my favorite place to eat in Andalusia. However, the service the last few times we have been has been less than ideal. All of the waitresses who have been there a while are wonderful! The owners are SO SWEET! But they are going to lose business because of the attitude from new employees working up front.“
