“Got takeout for the first time in a long while at a work function today. Sandwich and pasta side was excellent as I remember when dining in a few years ago. Sides can sell out or otherwise be unavailable. Other than that small gripe, excellent locally owned dining establishment. I'll be back.“

“SO. YUMMY. These biscuits are insane. I cannot wait to try more!! I built a biscuit with chicken, cheese, and strawberry jalapeño jelly on a jalapeño cheddar biscuit. My husband had the Southern. We loved both but THE BISCUIT stole the show. I cannot say enough. Theyre ALMOST as good as my Great Grandmother's homemade biscuits. I heard they have tacos on tuesdays with homemade tortillas, and I can't waaaaaait for tuesday! We ordered from doordash, and it was still warm when it got here and I'm near Hurlburt. Next time I'll take photos! Oh, and the strawberry jalapeño jelly was delicious, too!!“

“I have eaten here five times and now I feel comfortable with a review. The food is really good, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is clean. The waffles, admittedly, aren’t the “best” I’ve ever had, but they are passable. The general breakfast menu is really good. I like the omelettes. The portion sizes are on par with the very reasonable pricing. Well, that’s my two pennies.Kid-friendliness: I would say that this place is kid friendly. There are always families and kids in here.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessibility. This place used to be the IHOP, and all the provisions were put in place when the IHOP had the building. There are disabled parking spots, wheelchair ramps and they have designated tables.“

“Had a shrimp dinner with fries and onion rings. The food was flavorful and well cooked. Portion of shrimp was on the small side (8 total) but for the price with two sides I was not disappointed. I was surprised when I got back to my hotel that there was no cocktail sauce but to be fair I didn't specifically ask for it. Several packets of ketchup were in the bag. Surprisingly, there was nobody in the establishment at 7pm on a Saturday. The gentleman working the bar was friendly and very polite. Service was quick and the food was hot and delicious. I would definitely go back and try some of their other menu items.“

“Excellent place to have a nice, relaxed family meal. Prices are great, there is a wide selection of items. The service is friendly and was able to answer all my questions.... corn on the cob or not, what are the peas of the day, what kind of fries (not on the cob, baby Limas and crinkle cut). “So I've been coming here to eat for years. I've had dinner here countless times. Every entrée and appetizer I've had were exemplary. Sure, I've had the soup, but let's be honest. It's soup. Egg drops, and hot and sour are great, but there's nothing special about it. The sushi is top-notch. The owner makes it so the quality is second to none. Entrées are all great. If you don't know what to get, just get anything. You can't go wrong unless you order seafood and you don't like seafood or whatever. I'll eat here every day of the week and twice on Tuesday. Oh yeah, the best yum-yum sauce. I put it on everything. I'll bathe in it if I could. 4 stars overall. Three stars for the atmosphere because it's nice, but it's also standard looking.“

“Loved the food, specifically the club sandwich. The bacon on the sandwich was thick and delicious, really made the sandwich special. The seasoned fries were served hot and crispy. Another guest ordered the shrimp po' boy and said it was awesome. It had so much shrimp on it they kept falling off which was a good problem to have. The final diner had a salad and it was described as fresh and delicious as well.“

Props Craft Brewery & Taproom Brewery • $
125 Lovejoy Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach

“This was the first brewery I decided to check out in the area while I was out here for work. It's tucked away down a side street, but pretty convenient to get to it seemed. The woman behind the counter was extremely nice and legitimately seems to care about who patrons the place. The brewery itself was pretty cozy, going for an aviation theme, which makes sense with the Air Force base basically next door (explains the military discount they offer on Tuesdays as well). They had just opened the actual brewery equipment area in the back for guests and have corn hole back there and a few other board games to choose from. Seemed like a place for regulars to come to. Everyone at the bar seemed to know each other and the bartender. But it was also inviting to a non-local which usually isn't the case, so that was really cool of them. There's a good variety of beers to choose from with a bit of an emphasis on lighter styles/IPAs which is a-ok in my book with the heat Florida has to offer. The regular blonde was pretty standard, an easy drinker. I did sample the blood orange blonde as well, but it was very fruit forward and the small glass I had had orange residue after I finished. The blueberry Pilsner was also super fruit forward but I could appreciate them not lacking on the flavor for that one since I'm a sucker for blueberry beers. Overall cool little spot in an area without a lot of choices for breweries. It sounded like they were trying to make plans to do more with the space too, so I'd be excited to see what they come up with as time goes on.“

“RUN don't walk! The only place I've found actual "home fries" in the last 2 months (all the other places have fried diced potatoes) and they were delicious! I would've loved more onions, but they hit the spot. My eggs were perfectly cooked, just as I requested them and my bread was toasted lightly with just enough butter. Even as far as the condiments and silverware, I didn't have to ask, but there was everything in my bag. Salt, pepper, ketchup, grape and strawberry jelly.I can guarantee you I'll be here everyday while I'm working in the area!“
