“Always relaxing & delicious. The food is so amazing here at Georges with flavor and artistic vibes. We always have excellent service with delicious food in an extremely relaxing atmosphere. Thank you Devon for an awesome dinner service. We will see you soon.“
“Lunch at Four Seasons today was a treat. We randomly found this place in downtown Pensacola on a day trip. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The gumbo’s silky texture and perfect seasonings was delicious. The fried chicken was done to perfection. The coleslaw, gouda mac and cheese, and turmeric pasta salads each had their own distinctive flavors that would make any of them a great side choice. What makes this charming little eatery so good is the detail that goes into each dish that we tried.“
“We love coastal it's always a great time! So many beer selections and always have new ones coming out. The beer pretzel is da bomb so get it. Not the pretzel bites but the big one. Mac and cheese is delicious as well! So much for the kids to do and always have live music! Karyn is amazing (as always) and Gabriel was our server today and he did a great job! Great staff all around.“
“My family and I always visit here on spring break, and we always have a great time! Despite having such a large group, we are always taken care of and our food is out quickly. We went this week and Sharon did an amazing job at getting what we needed and checking on us. The food is excellent here as well! Perfect beach dinner“
“I’ve lived in Pensacola for almost 4 years now and finally visited Grover’s for the first time. I’m from upstate NY (Buffalo area) where we have soft serve ice cream, the best Buffalo sauces/wing sauces, a bunch of crispy wing family owned restaurants for good prices. Well, Grovers is now our FAVORITE. Not many places that offer soft serve ice cream around here, so go try it! Plus they have so many flavors to add to your vanilla cone. Their fries are perfectly crispy… and their buffalo sauce, well, amazinggg. They definitely know what Buffalo sauce is instead of giving you a side of red-hot like most places I’ve seen here. Will be coming back way more often! The staff is so sweet, the atmosphere is welcoming, causal and comfortable. 100/10.“
“Everything was fantastic! Service is super- friendly and attentive. Menu has great variety but not too much that you question how they can do it all well. Food was superb. Great flavors with unique combinations. Highly recommend it. We will be back every time we are in the area“
“Lots of gluten free options for my husband who has celiac. He ordered the Pork BBQ plate. For an appetizer, we had the goat cheese cheesecake with seasonal pepper jelly that was served with gluten free crackers. I had the Spanish Crab Cazuela which was so delicious!! It was served with a green salad with blue cheese and spiced pepita's. They also serve Rishi brand hot tea which is my favorite. Will definitely go back!“
“When you have a server like Pete working, you know the good and service will be outstanding. All protein is locally sourced, and all salsas/sauces that accompany some dishes are only made when the order is placed. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting again.“
“First time! Love it! We will come back for sure. We felt so welcomed. All staff was full of smiles and always willing to help. Our server was Hailey M she just a doll. Thank you hun for your hospitality. Oh let's not forget the closest thing to heaven is The Cinnamon Roll French Toast. Is OMG Good!“
“We had there wings and split a burger. The food was amazing burger was well cooked and not at all dry. The wings were amazing the meat fell off the bone. The service was great too our server Nick check in and made sure we always had what we needed. My son’s was touring a local college and this place made on his pro and con list as one of the pros.“
“The place was really busy when we arrived. We were seated within a reasonable time. The service was outstanding! Every waiter we encountered had a smile, was punctual, and in our case our waffle was hard and they took off some money from the final check. Food wise, they have a lot of healthy options that taste good, by far the best tasting eggs i have ever had while eating out. Theirbreakfast potatoes are also very well seasoned. The plain iced coffee is also OUTSTANDING!“
“We ate at The Point and everything was wonderful. The service was fantastic. The food absolutely delicious. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp which was amazing. We also ordered and shared a Brownie Ala Mode which was sinfully delicious. There was live music on a Tuesday night during the off season which I appreciated greatly!“
“We had mixed reaction to the food here. The Cajun pasta was delicious and the hush puppies were good too. The service was very friendly, but a bit slow. It was nice to be able to enjoy outdoor seating. Fried shrimp was good as were the fries. Sweet tea was perfectly sweetened.“
“If you like Philadelphia sandwich shops, this is for you. No frills, strip mall cheesesteak and hoagie shop. Great lunch crowd at 11:30am on a Friday. Ordered at the counter and it was ready in less than 10min. Grew up in Philadelphia, wasn't disappointed. Next time I'll add extra cheese to steak, but Hoagie was on point. Can't wait to go back for a cheesesteak hoagie!“
“We love Foosackly's, and this was our first visit to this location. The food is great, comes out fast, and is quite cheap. We're accustomed to the location we've been to many times in Auburn, Alabama, and it runs super smooth. We were given a different number than our order actually was given, so the employees had trouble finding us. We also saw this happening with other orders throughout our time inside eating. Still great food that we always look forward to when we're near a Foosackly's.“
“Goat Lips? AWESOME!!! All around WONDERFUL!!! The food! The beer selection! The music! The service! The atmosphere! Really the BEST! I shouldn’t tell cause they always have the perfect crowd too! It’s pretty amazing! And the talent of the musicians… gee gads… they must just not want to be famous!“
“We had brunch here this morning and it was amazing! Great food and great service. Highly recommend the “Grit Balls of Fire” and the Smothered Breakfast Burrito and Avacado Toast Trio were amazing. Also tried their “True Grind” coffees; delicious!“
“Just tried for the first time today and was floored by the completely elevated experience. We had the best sushi we have ever had (and they even had gluten free soy sauce and gluten free options marked on menu), great view of the gulf, and Leslie provided us with some of the best service we have received anywhere since moving here over a year ago. We live in Foley but this is our new favorite- can’t see us ordering sushi anywhere else now.Dietary restrictions: Excellent place if you are gluten free and on the hunt for some amazing sushi. They have gluten free soy sauce upon request and have CLEARLY marked what rolls are gluten free on the menu.“
“The food was PHENOMENAL and the prices were excellent! I had the lamb vindaloo and it was one of the best plates of food I've had in a long time. I had the scotch egg as an appetizer and it was equally impressive. Peyton, our server, was attentive, quick, friendly, and knowledgeable!“
“Great place to enjoy amazing food, small plates, sharing food and regular menu. Jessica served us, she was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient and clearly loves her job. We had the charcuterie board and fish dip, both were delicious, happy hour is 3pm to 6pm on certain wines aswell!!“
“We've been coming to the Gulf Shores/Pensacola are for 30+years. Tonight was our first visit to the Oar House. Wow!! Everything from drinks to appetizers, meals and desserts was scrumptious! Our waiter (sorry, I can't remember his name) was knowledgeable and very attentive. We will definitely be back!!“
“I love the hole in the wall chef owned places and this place did not disappoint at all! The BBQ sauce was amazing all the meats in the family package were on point and the sides I have no words! This place is truly amazing we will be back !!!!“
“My family was in town for my mother's celebration of life and we all met at Lucy's . What a perfect place to visit with family, and enjoy quality food with excellent service. Thank you for making our time together incredibly special.“
“We stopped here on our way to the airport after our week long stay in Gulf Shores this past Friday. There were 12 of us. We wish we would have found it sooner as we all said it was the best food we had the entire trip! From the mahi tacos to the hand cut fries and the burgers, everything was excellent. Great portions, very reasonable prices and excellent service. This is a must stop!“
“It doesn't matter what part of town we are in, we will drive past all other waffle House locations to get to THIS one on 9 mile road! The entire staff there is amazing, customer service goes unmatched and it's clean in here y'all!!!!! Last but definitely not least our food came out FAST, HOT, DELICIOUS and so APPEALING to the eyes.We definitely recommend. Donn, the manager was extremely pleasant. HATS OFF to the cooks for makingour visit so worth the drive!“
“I love bringing my family to this restaurant ❤️ best seafood and chicken wings ! Love the employees & their positive vibes! I’ve been going to this place in Pensacola Florida for the past four years ! The manager definitely knows how to run this place :)!“
“We stopped in on our way back to Bama. We thought our Waffle House at home was good - but dang did this one show us up!!The best Waffle House we have ever visited, staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and quick. Thank you to everyone at this location for brightening our day with more than a meal! ?? 10/10“
“Wonderful, attentive and pleasant server and some very good food. The Lumpia was crispy and tasty, the pork sisig was crispy and tasty, the lechon was crispy but somewhat flavorless. The pork adobo was amongst the best we've ever tasted! The pancit was the biggest disappointment. While colorful with fresh vegetables it looked beautiful.... too bad it lacked flavor and seasoning. Worth a visit!“
“In the restaurant under the afternoon sun, The aroma of delicious food fills your heart. Beautiful ingredients are served on white porcelain plates. The colors unfold like a scroll. The tender meat is as graceful as a dancer, Crispy vegetables are like a gift from the earth. The aroma of the wine is fragrant, and you feel relaxed and happy when you taste it. The notes of the meal danced and echoed in the air. While chewing slowly, the tip of your tongue dances with rhythm, The endless aftertaste of beauty is like a dream. The restaurant is picturesque and the food is poetic, Enjoy delicious food and experience the tranquility of time.“
“Very good food, gluten free items are very tasty. Plenty of choices and that’s sometimes rare.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are tasty and plenty of options to choose from. The staff is knowledgeable and always friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: We take wheeelchaired members there all the time!“
“I recently ordered a takeout order. I arrived on time to receive my order. It took the person delivering it to me THREE tries to get the right order. I said my name clearly every time and they still got it wrong the first two times. That wasnt as big an issue as the latter. There was an accident on my way home but when I finally did get to my order.... For starters, I received the wrong bun for my sandwich. I ordered garlic bread rather than the normal bun but did not receive it. I also had fries and the southern eggrolls. The fries were just BARELY cooked enough to be considered fries. They were very hard and not fluffy at all. The eggrolls were extremely soft and did not have a single crunch to them. I have heard that this restaurant has gone down and I didnt believe it because sonnys used to be good but now; that is clearly the case. Fries not fully cooked and eggrolls are as soft as mashed potatoes. Its a shame because back in the day, they used to be good. Do not recommend.“
“I have lived close to this restaurant for twelve years without knowing that it's here; it's behind the T&M Flea Market on T Street. My loss.Sunday I had a fish dinner with with two sides and hushpuppies--5* food, service, and low price, Today I had the daily special: generous serving of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, lima beans and fried bread for $7.99 and everything 5* again! I am going to be a regularnow, I promise It's awkward but easy to get to, and it's not in the best neighborhood (albeit totally safe here). If it was in a better loaction, it would have hundreds of 5* reviews instead of a few on Yelp about their hamburgers. Thank you guys for your awesomeness!“
“Always an amazing meal here. I usually get the patty melt with an egg but I went all star with a pecan waffle, over medium eggs, hash browns, raisin toast, and bacon. Everything cooked about 10 feet from us and came out in less than 5 minutes. Tastes just as good on a Saturday morning as it does a Saturday night after some drinks. Staff is great and very friendly and attentive.“
“Wow!! What a fun atmosphere! The dueling piano show was fabulous even though I requested a song they didn't know and still didn't play the one I asked them to play in its place(with a tip but would have tipped them anyway)I think they tried to make it up with another song but whatever, they were still good. The only complaint I have is the bartender that was there Saturday night, June 24th. What an a$$ hat. I'm sorry that I didn't drink alcoholic beverages, I also didn't know the sodas were free. You saw my drink was empty MULTIPLE times and when you finally asked what I wanted, you made 2 drinks before you gave me mine. I honestly would have tipped WAY more if you would have been nice and kept my drink filled. That was the only issue I had with this place. The ladies that came around to get our drink orders were wonderfully nice and definitely made the bartender look somewhat decent. I will be back but definitely not go see him! Thanks for a fun evening Rosie's! ?“
“In Orange Beach on vacation looking for dinner with a couple hungry kids, all the “normal” dinner places right here in walking distance were full up with an hour wait but low and behold the Waffle House was empty and we sat immediately. The hostess/waitress/cook was the most wonderful and helpful server I have had in years. I can’t tell you how much fun the kids had having breakfast for dinner and our waitress made the whole time so memorable.Kid-friendliness: They catered to my kids - wonderful“
“This place is actually pretty good. I don't eat fast food much, but they're steak burgers, and thin, crispy fries are definitely better than others. I love fresh crispy fries, and Freddy's is always that. They also have a veggie burger, which is a plus for those who are vegan/vegetarian. We also want to point out that they had a drive thru employee who served us and he was amazing. We forgot his name but he seemed to have a lisp or had a stutter. Either way, he did great and he was very friendly. Wish we remembered his name but we were there a while ago, I just now remembered to do this review.“
“I have been a regular at this Waffle House # 1272 for many years and everyone is absolutely wonderful. But I must make special mention of a particular cook, Dee who is underrated. He is a very talented grill op and self conscious. Humble and a delight to have as a cook. Good food, professional and courteous.I love my “
“My team has a team breakfast here weekly. The staff is very friendly and they recognize us and some staff have even started joking with us if we sit at a different table than usual. The food is already served quickly and is hot and tastes good.“
“I've been here quite a few times. I even brought a few people along the last couple of times I've been so they can share the experience. The service is superb! The food is always fresh and delicious. They have the type of customer service that can just change your whole day. Keep up the great work!“
“Omgoodness ❤️!! This place is so good!! I had a fried chicken sandwich with fries.. it was AMAZING! My son had fried gizzards and he said the same thing!! The price was great, large servings and great service ?❤️!! Abso-freaking-lutely recommend!! Thank y'all ?❤️“
“This is the most organs cleanest Waffle House I have ever been to, hands down. At 62 years old I’ve been to a few. Between the manager, servers and chefs I can’t believe the team work between them. This should be Waffle Houses main training location!!“
“We had the best Breakfast at Waffle House today! This team is tight. They all worked together had each others back. It was amazing The food was incredible. The service amazing! One employee burnt her had and just powered through!!! Everyone ran to help! Left a $100.00 tip. Thank you all for showing up and doing what you do! Mark and Mary Parker“
“Very quick service, plenty of food for the price and all with great flavor! Adult beverages as well as a kids menu, perfect for the whole family and very accommodating. Exceeded expectations! Server could've been more 'friendly' or engaged but was still attentive with refills and making sure the food was all good for us.“
“We met up for breakfast before we all went our separate ways after being together for a wedding. There were 7 of us. The server was very accommodating,; orders were filled quickly and coffee kept topped off. She understood that we would be a little longer than most customers and did not hurry us. The food was excellent as usual. Never had a bad meal at any waffle HouseKid-friendliness: Plenty of room for the familyParking: Close up parking“
“I'll call this place Upscale Roach Coaches. ?. Actually, Flip-n-Yaki gets five stars. Some of the best Asian food anywhere. Calavera Tacos is pretty good too. It's in a tourist district so naturally all prices are a little on the high side.“
“Very friendly people, and a great boat launch. There's plenty of parking too, far more than Archie Glover or Shoreline Park. The channel is about 6-7' deep consistently. They have one single ramp and one double ramp. $5 launch fee, $2 for additional parking (meaning other vehicles joining you, not the vehicle you're launching your boat from). They have a drop box with envelopes you put your tag # on and cash inside, so you'll need exact change unless you get the restaurant to break change for you. Some of the boat slips need work. There's a restaurant there too now, I haven't tried it yet but it looks great! They had a sign up that says they serve gator bites! If you're considering Smith's boat ramp across the street, I wouldn't. I haven't launched there personally, but I drove the boat past it to check it out and it's in pretty rough shape. Several sunken boats, and it looks like the ramp is covered in orange clay.“
“Me and my boyfriend went and ate a few days ago the service was impeccable! and the food was decent, i HIGHLY recommend the spinach dip as and appetizer! however i did order the “southern” green beans along side my steak/fried shrimp dinner & they were so tough and had this terribly sweet taste, wouldn’t get the green beans again but other than that love this place!“
“First off, our waitress, Hailey, was phenomenal. She was friendly, polite, and professional. She was knowledgeable about the menu. She also takes great care of her customers. The food selection and taste were great. There is plenty of seating. It's definitely worth the visit. Make sure to get Hailey as the waitress.“
“Stopped in for dinner on the way back from Pensacola. They were busy but got us in quickly. Service was great, we got drinks and were able to order quickly. The food was tasty, the shrimp were plump and tasted so fresh. They had a good sized menu with a variety of seafood, it was difficult to choose due to so many things looking good. The view was very nice, and it would be a good place for a romantic dinner.“
“Such an amazing night. We were both already fans of Chef George however after tonight we are even bigger fans. Our entire experience was great. We went out for my birthday/our 20th anniversary. We did a tasting of the menu from oysters (murder pointe) delicious, buttery soft and a hint of sweet the cucumber, red wine and shallot mignonette were a beautiful start. Followed by red snapper collar which was delicious however our server noticed we were having a harder time accessing the meat then normal and immediately spoke with Chef George who Insisted on firing a new one even though we’d enjoyed over half of our first one. So we ordered some tuna carpaccios while we waited and this was outstanding (if you like jalapeños ask for extra). Our second red snapper collar came out and was perfection. Soft flaky smooth and delicious (thank you chef for insisting absolutely worth it). We then decided to order the flounder main dish to share which was also perfect. The crispy fried capers and roasted pecans added a wonderful crunch contrast to the soft silky fish and creamy potatoes. To finish the night we got the tuxedo cake, and while not made in house clearly was chosen for its superior quality as my husband who does not care for chocolate was eating more of the chocolate mouse than the vanilla cheesecake. I would also highly recommend the Paloma such a refreshing drink like your sitting on a lounge chair on the beach enjoying the sunset.“
