Great food. I love this place. Staff is the best. It’s my go to restaurant. Great place for a cup of hot chocolate or if you’re a coffee drinker that too. Still trying different things on the menus and haven’t had anything I did not totally enjoy. When my family and friends come to visit this is where I’ll take them for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ordered the ettouffee but the rice wasn't ready, so I got it over grits and it was 9/10. Definitely recommended
The food was very delicious and the latte art was a cute cherry on top.

True Grit Kitchen & Cantina is a family-owned restaurant where the food is amazing and the service is exceptional. The atmosphere feels welcoming and relaxed, with a warm and inviting vibe. The menu features fresh ingredients, not frozen patties, with dishes like the garlic smash burger and fries, which are delicious, and the chicken nachos. Appetizers like Grit Balls of Fire are deep fried jalapeño cheese grits, not spicy but flavorful, served with an in-house made dipping sauce. The Big Lagoon shrimp and grits are amazing, a bowl of jalapeño cheese grits topped with grilled shrimp and smoked sausage, with a very nice portion and price. The Chicken Tingy Bowl features pulled smoked chicken that is amazing. For breakfast, the best coffee and BLT are available, and the smothered breakfast burrito is hearty and packed with flavor. The service is attentive yet not intrusive, and the staff is friendly. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this is a favorite place to go, and the quality and care put into everything is clear.
