“Restaurant Iron has long been our go-to destination in downtown Pensacola. Its intimate ambiance, dedicated upscale menu, and consistent quality made it stand out above any other establishment in the area. We’ve brought out-of-town guests to showcase the richness of the local cuisine, always confident that the experience—from the first cocktail to the last bite of Nutella or raspberry ganache pie—would impress. Our typical order was a ritual: shareable truffle fries, a perfectly cooked ribeye (always photo-worthy), and a decadent dessert to close. These elements, paired with the cozy atmosphere, were what made Iron so special. Unfortunately, our most recent visit on May 9 was deeply disappointing. Despite the torrential downpour, we didn’t think twice about keeping our reservation. But upon arrival, we were met with an entirely different experience. The menu, which now features sliders and sandwich-style dishes, felt more suited for a casual lunch spot than the refined dining experience we had come to love. Several signature dishes were removed, and the new offerings didn’t align with the elevated identity Iron once upheld. Even the menu design itself no longer reflects the restaurant’s original charm. Service also fell short of expectations. We were served the wrong salad, and the correct one arrived without dressing. Dessert—though eventually comped—took an unexpectedly long time to be served, rounding out an already lackluster evening. We truly hope this is a temporary shift. Restaurant Iron was once our top choice for special occasions and recommendations. But based on our last visit, we no longer feel confident choosing it for a date night or referring friends and family. Please reconsider restoring the signature dishes and experience that made Iron exceptional.”

Telling me to calm down because I didn’t know if my kids consistently picking up their cups off the scale, I had to ask her if she was able to get the weight of them…. Very disappointing but we do love coming in. We will be frequenting the pace location instead, as they are friendly and much better at communicating when they have the weight logged so I don’t have to sit there and explain to the kids to stop grabbing for their sweet treat. Kids will be kids but your customers are most likely with children so Bonnie needs better training in communication so parents are not just waiting until they have to ask for the total or ask if their product has been weighed.”

“out back is great when they don't disappoint. I'm going to blame Mother's Day for tonight's issues. We waited over an hour for food to go. what should of been a medium rare steak was medium well, accompanied by a half burnt baked potato. Also a burnt yet still raw gummy battered onion blossom. Guessing the fryers are up to high to try and keep up with demand. Hopeful my next experience is a more pleasant one.”

“Today was my first time going and I absolutely loved the energy! I got some Teriyaki wings and my boyfriend got a burger that he couldn’t even finish lOl . My waitress name was Rebecca, she was very kind and polite ❤️ The manager stopped by before we left and gave us a little back ground on the restaurant. That fact that he took the time as busy as it was very sweet . Outstanding place ! Wish I could give more stars . Will be returning soon!”

“I finally made it to Nolita’s for some ice cream with a friend and we will be coming back for more!! I got the tiramisu sundae and it was exactly what I needed and more! The presentation was beautiful, the flavor was great and I believe there was tiramisu and coffee at the bottom of the ice cream! The staff was super sweet, the owner, Hylene, actually brought our ice cream outside to us and the fun vintage decor was refreshing! Also the bathroom was super clean! “Saw the restaurant on Instagram. Decided to try it out today for an early dinner. The food was amazing! We bought two different pizzas and shared. Definitely recommend. I want to go back and try two more different ones. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. His story is amazing. The outdoor atmosphere is such a great touch. It’s located right near the tj maxx in town and it’s a really convenient quick stop if you’re on Davis… I always get the Thai Tea and the recipe is perfect-not overwhelmingly sweet! Def. “Tried this for the very first time. Never been and I had some time on my way to work. When I approached, noticed no menus. Informed the server and asked for a menu and they don't have one. Made a-la-carte order of vanilla macadamia mocha. It's pretty good. Now that I'm at work and had a chance to look at their menu online, I definitely would have gotten a different cold brew. I'm disappointed that they expected me to already know.”
