Extremely disappointed in this place. Drink came late and not as ordered. Being a fine dining restaurant, we expected a good experience . Ribeye was fat and grisly. Poorest cut of meat I've ever had. Brussel sprouts were hard as a rock. Asked for rolls twice. Martini added extra $4 WHEN MENU WAS 13. not $17. not dirty and not shaken cold. I'm a simple customer. We hit up The District: Seville Steak & Seafood for dinner before a downtown show. Honestly, it was a total snooze fest. The place looks all fancy and upscale, but trust me, it's just a bunch of hype. The cocktails are on point, the service is meh, and the food is just, well, okay. We went for the Steak Frites, and let me tell you, the steaks were teeny tiny, and I couldn't even tell if they were dry aged. So good! The upstairs vibe is our favorite, food is amazing - salads, French Onion Soup, Filet and NY Strip and bourbon sweet potato mash, but the service and care is extraordinary - Jemal is absolutely incredible - what an amazing human being and he takes great pride in his job and responsibility - hope every one has some Jemal in their life! We will be back - great food, great service and pride in each person’s role makes this place!
