LOTs of choices of cookies - don't sleep on the scotchies. Items that my 8-year-old enjoyed (M&M brownie). Small pies to try out so you don't have to buy an entire pie. My wife absolutely loved the lemon bar. Would certainly go back when I'm in the area.”

“We ordered birria tacos, birria quesadilla, a lengua taco, a barbacoa taco, a side of refried beans, and a bean rice and cheese burrito (for my kid). It was $40 and worth EVERY penny. We waited under 10 minutes. everything was hot and fresh. the lengua was tender and NOT chewy. 11/10!!!!”

“I’ve been going to the flora bama since 1980. No matter how small or how large the crowd, the atmosphere is there! I can sit there and think back about the days when a group of friends would spend the weekend there and none of us had money to stay in a hotel. We slept under the stars on the beach or in our cars . Wash off and go back inside and dance the night away. Walk in crawl out, through the open windows that were close to the ground. Fun times!”

“My daughter and I were there with her 10yr old golden. Of course we asked for outside seating, and were told an hour wait. Hostess did not get my phone # correct so when I didn’t get the welcome text I went back in. Another hostess changed it and neither one apologized for their mistake. Never broke a smile. Sooo we wait, and wait. Watched so many be brought in who clearly had not been there longer than us, empty outside tables with no one sitting there. I went back to the hostess stand to see how much longer, “it could be 3min or 15”, really. We finally got a table after an hour and 35min. We were put at the table next to the steps coming out on the patio, while there were two more tables open on the outside corner of the patio. Out of the line of traffic. Our golden was almost stepped on several times (one being the rude hostess) and the constant jarring of the ppl coming up and down the steps was very annoying. Imagine trying to enjoy a meal that you have waited two hours for and your table bouncing around. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent! Hostesses need to learn some manners as to how to be polite.”

“Our server was Pinky and she did a great job serving 6 of us while also handling several other tables. I had what I think they called their signature bloody Mary which had a skewer of pickled vegetables, shrimp and a slice of bacon. Very good. Then the fried fish basket which I think was grouper. 2 large pieces of fish that were juicy and not over cooked. The sauce that came with it was great. The fries were crisp and hot. The Cole slaw and twice baked potato salad were obviously house made, a long with almost everything else. The onion rings were not homemade but they were still good, made from sliced onions, not chopped and formed. Everyone else enjoyed their food also.”

“My buddy Landon brought me here and swore it was the best Thai around, and he sure wasnt kidding. Such simple ingredients made to taste BOLD. I got panang chicken curry and chicken fried rice. Once I smelled the food cooking I knew I was in the right spot. Oh and the chef was the most friendly and sweet lady Ive ever met. If you have never been, dont wait. No outside seating though, take out only. Thank you!”

“This has been my favorite donut place since I moved here, but its not just the donuts. They have biscuits, croissants, boudin and so much more. Everything is made fresh that day and I've had to make a rule that I can only go once a week or I will gain weight I just don't want.”
